Been here awhile...
I'm sorry it worked out like that.

After seeing recent spy shots, I have to agree. Suzuki just bold faced lied when they said the Concept 3 would be very close to the original.

The spy shots show a lot. They have totally destroyed the entire look of the car. The entire lines and overall looks are almost entirely gone.
The only competitor (for me) to my upcoming lease is the Chevy Volt. Unless I make a killing in the next 8 months in my business, and I don't see that happening, then those two cars will be the only two I look at.
Told you so![]()
This is, by far, the worst I've ever seen a car change from concept - especially when they say the production car will be very similar - to production. This is why I never even REMOTELY consider Suzuki when thinking about automobiles. Same goes with Subaru. These are two companies I forget exist until someone says something about one of them. It's going to look just like every other unidentifiable P.O.S. on the road.Dangit....

No longer a "concept." In the video clips the manager states it's pretty much what they are producing. The Genesis doesn't look even close... in my opinion
Well, it's all over the net now. It will have a 2.4l I-4 (the same engine in the 2009 Grand Vitara delivers around 165hp),
It's clear no matter what Suzuki says that this car is drastically different from the concept and not built primarily for the North American market. It's 7"+ shorter than a Fusion and 11"+ shorter than an Accord making it roughly the size of the last-gen Mazda 6 and only a tiny bit smaller than the Mazda 3 and VW Jetta.
I think they did a nice job on the interior, but it will never make a dent here, at least in the midsize segment.
