  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

That thing is RIDICULOUS (I think I mean that in a good way)!!!

Looks amazing... but I can never get excited about these early concept images. Never ends up like the ultimate product. It's a great start, though!

That's a rendering that's been floating around and is hard to say if Kia had anything to do w/ it.

The fact that it doesn't have the Kia corporate grill makes me believe that it is either old or that Kia had nothing to do w/ it.

well... if anything, I hope Hyundai can pick up this design for the 2nd Generation of the Genesis coupe. The ONLY thing that I don't like about the current Gen Coupe is the front, the small , simple and old looking grille (they tried too hard to honor the tiburon) If they can adopt this front's design on the 2nd Gen the coupe will be a killer.

My thoughts EXACTLY.

Dear Kia. Make this:

That is all.

The cited Kia coupe reminds me of the Accord coupe I traded for my Genny sedan...albeit more refined. I wanted more room with the bonus of more power. The sedans have all my attention currently. Not missing the coupe at all.

The 2G Genesis Coupe will be the coupe variant of Hyundai's new entry level, luxury RWD sedan - so I expect it to have a design more in line w/ Hyundai's other luxury offerings.

That is all.

Kia is supposed to reveal its other coupe concept sometime later this year; this time a real coupe (and not a "4-door coupe" like the GT concept).

Supposedly, it is to be smaller than the Genesis Coupe and be powered by 4 cyl powerplants (including a turbo).

Kia was supposed to decide on which concept to build but based on the positive reviews of the GT, they may very well end up building both.

Looks like the front end of an Audi, which I think looks much better then the new Genesis Coupe...not sure what Hyundai was thinking with the front end on it.
