  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

AA & ACP release

Put the SD car in the car slot, Ignore the message, so to Setup, and update.
Follow the prompts from there.
When I go to setup and then system setup, then press update(without the USB)I get the message check "check update and try again". To be clear, I am able to use Apple car play (update completed) but the map won't start. I get the message that the SD card is not compatable with the software.

is this the original SD card that came with the car? If not, that's your problem. you need to download the update again to the stock SD card.

I had one issue during the upgrade. The update to GPS was hung for two hours. But did the update again yesterday and it went fine and was quick too.

This is the original SD card. I'm think about doing the upgrade again. Maybe it got messed up in the upgrade process. I read somewhere that someone else had this issue but I can't find the post.

I had that problem, but I used a different SD card the first time. Upgrade ran, but nav wouldn't accept card afterward. I re-downloaded the update and let it copy to the stock card, and that took care of it. didnt' have to run the update in the car again, just reinstall the software to the stock sd card

I did the update over the weekend. On Friday I got the SD card from the car and that night I put it in my laptop and downloaded the update to it. No issues whatsoever other than it taking a long time (2 1/2 hours) like others have stated.

The next day I sat in my car as it updated and once again had no issues. It took about 35 minutes or so to update.

I have an Android phone (LG G4) so I can only speak to the AA functionality. It's nice but I'm excited for Android to keep developing it. I will primarily use it for Spotify integration as well as the Maps/Navigation. By all accounts, Waze is going to be fully integrated shortly so I'm really looking forward to that. I haven't used AA much yet obviously since I've only had it for a couple of days. I have yet to make/receive a phone call or send/receive a text while plugged into AA. It's a neat tool for sure though and once my Bluelink trial expires, I won't be renewing because I'll already have both Google Maps navigation and Waze for free.

Man, I hope Waze hurries up and gives it android auto capability. I can't live without Waze.

On another note, I tried carplay and it kind of sucks in comparison to android auto. The navigation was inferior for one, phone management was inferior as well. Although either cp or aa are much better than the Hyundai system.

Did my update yesterday and all worked as advertised. Only issue I have is that google maps wobbles around at times running straight up a street.

I cant find the F-ING download link. I followed instructions on your post and still cannot find it. All I see is the alert that it is available for my car, but no links anywhere to download. FORGET IT... I WAS USING GOOGLE CHROME, BUT ONCE I SWITCHED TO SAFARI ON MY MAC, EVERYTHING WAS WHERE IT SHOULD BE. Heck, if they are supporting Android Auto, why not allow google chrome to be used?

You should have let it restart itself instead of forcing the restart. It should have stated "restarting the system" instead. If you read the second instruction below that instruction, it stated something like , "Do not force a restart." The whole process should be fully autonomous without any interruption or interference from you until it is fully finished.

Did anybody restart the system in the middle of the download. When updating it stated "restart your system" so I turn it off from the radio and then started it. Could this be why my NAV system now says " SD card not compatable with update"?

I downloaded using Chrome with Win 10. No issues.

If anyone is still missing the download link, you could try this.

Go to HyundaiUSA.com and log in

Then navigate to:
https://www.hyundaiusa.com/MyHyundai/softwaredownload

This is the page that contains the download. Scroll down, agree to the Ts&Cs, and the download button should let you get the file. Make sure to have the SD card from your NAV in the drive first.

I did the update again without turning of the system. I still can't get the NAV system to start. I guess I may have to take it to the dealer. I was trying to avoid that.

Strange, I could not use Chrome via my Chromebook, then on my Mac,. The minute I opened it using Safari, it was there. Downloaded the update in about 1 hr, and installed it on my commute to work this morning. Installed in 35 minutes and I was using it after dropping my daughter off at school. Worked great for what I need.

Did you try pressing the reset button near the radio tuning knob (the small, almost pinhole sized button.. you can use the tip of a pen to press and hold until you see screen reboot, with the SD Card in the slot and then try the update again?

I noticed the same jitter/ Wobble on the screen, towards the top, when using Google Maps. Also hard to see the traffic alerts until you are almost to the area. I presume it has something to do with the resolution of the screen of the NAV system, as all the other screens are clear. But I am sure there are going to be some bugs in the beginning. maybe it can be fixed via an Android Auto update on the phone vs. another SD Card session!

Until then you can use it just fine on your phone and buy a $6 vent magnet mount from amazon that I've posted multiple times to put it right next to your existing display screen.

Heck, if they are supporting Android Auto, why not allow google chrome to be used?

The android content of what you are downloading on the link from some company's servers has about as much to do with with allowing/not allowing google chrome as my brushing my teeth this morning does.
