  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Accumulated G70 issues

For sure! I have 4 children, and they will all learn to drive manual, that is for certain. In fact, my son's car is also a manual transmission. I got him a 2008 Accord with 5MT, last summer. I was extremely pleased when one of his criteria was that his car be manual.

That's a really good question! I had no idea that the connected app could do so much. Let me check. There doesn't seem to be that much information on there. I've attached a screenshot of what we get under the ''driving information''

I had two kids. Only time they drove my car is when I was in it with them. I was 18 once and knew what to expect. They both had cars and paid for them themselves so they were a bit more responsible for them. My daughter is now 51 and prefers stick shift.

Bump for late arrivals. This was as of six months or so ago but the accumulation at that time has not varied much since.

Engine coolant found at Low mark in the expansion tank three time in 17 months, first time with around 10K when i topped up to Full mark with Engine completely cooled off during night. Second time with 17K when i reported to dealer and visited them with no findings, Third time now with 17 533K after the visit i did to dealer last moth as mentioned. No leaks evidence under the hood or the Oil dip stick.

You know you check the level with your engine warm/hot. Top off (if needed) when engine cool. Just making sure :)

Thank you Beefer but why the manual ask you to check the level in the expansion tank (i don't know if we carry expansion or overflow tanks to be honest at this time) with the Engine cold? There are two marks in the coolant tanks in our G70 system, one is Low and the other one is Full. There are other cars system where they use different markings, Low cold and High hot. So i believe in our case the Low mark is telling me to add juice when checking level and found at this point with the Engine is cold following manual instructions.

You know...I could be wrong with this car. My statement is based on other cars I have owned. So I would go by what the user manual says. Sorry to cause confusion.

Bump for new arrivals. Nearly all of these would qualify as minor though some nuisance until resolved. Very few of serious nature. If there are further questions use search box to find specific discussion threads.
