  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Thought it would be good to share what others see any auto shows where the upcoming car is on display. Does anyone know if the 2015 Genesis is being displayed at the current DC Auto show?

Don't forget that these are likely prototypes, and may not reflect the final option packages that show up in the US. Someone else posted that manufacturing of US versions begins in early February.

Mark - I agree. I am interested in at least seeing it in the flesh to get a general feel how it will look. I had hoped to be able to sit in one, but looks like a no go, at least in DC.

Pictures are sometimes not very good to really see how a car looks - some look better, some worse than they later appear live. I remember the first pics of the Audi R8 when it came out - I was not blown away. When I saw one live the first time, it was a different car.

The 2015 Genesis is at the DC car show but there is no access to get too close and less info there than you will find here. Having said that, it is a stunner. I will buy one when they are available.

That's silly of them not to let access in the car. When I went to the Detroit auto show, I sat in it about 5 times (had to let others get in) and spent nearly an hour playing around with everything. That's the best way to get the actual feel for the car. Tested for quality and responsiveness of the new system. (It definitely is a huge upgrade from current generation.)
