After having my car for about 1 month and 1/2, I ended up getting "challenged" by a Traffic Drum who was laying down in the middle of a curve on the highway lane at 4h40am. No need to say that it was not sunny outside. After evaluating the risk of going right or left at speed of light, i opted for the left... and yes... i already did started applying brakes...
BUT...
The Traffic Drum appears to have a mind of its own and started going left as well (WTF)....
Result... my new car entered into a BIG argument with the Traffic Drum (the BOOM argument)...
After i stopped, i was surprised to see how much damage there was on my car...
i cannot say the exact amount that will come out of this but... I would not be surprised that it will be higher than 10k...
Why... well.. a friend of mine has a Ford Mach E and he needed to replace the from ventilation plastic "flap" and mechanism since he took some snow going out of his driveway.
that alone was 1800$... and he replaced them on its own.
Now here, we are talking about the front bumper, lower "cowl", front gril, front ventilation system. front radiator... etc...etc.. etc..
As you can see from the photos... radiator hose were broken and coolant leaked out... well.. all of it.
I am super lucky... Why again... the front SRS sensor didn't trigger the front airbags.
Oh.. almost forgot... the car will be gone for possibly 6 months...
I will miss that car for sure...
