  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a '09 Genesis 4.6 Tech and of course, it doesn't stream audio via Bluetooth A2DP. I purchased the iPod cable from Hyundai and then recently connected a [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GHUHMUS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1"]CoolStream Duo[/ame] converter to that. The Coolstream Duo takes the audio and its power through the 30 pin iPod connector and unlike my previous solution (a HTC Bluetooth Steaming Clip), the high frequency interference is nearly eliminated. Now, my phone can paid simultaneously to the CoolStream and the car's own bluetooth phone and I don't have to worry about re-charging since the CoolStream gets power from the car.

Thanks for the solution.

With the coolstream, does the factory iPod interface work? Or do you just have it on "aux"?

I WISH the audio controls worked but instead it just reads AUX on the screen. All of the controls, such as song selection, is handled on the phone. One huge benefit to the CoolStream I noticed again this morning is that my phone will connect and disconnect to it automatically since the CS turns itself on and off with the car. So when I jumped out this morning to pay for fuel, the CS turned off, my phone paused what I was listening to on TuneIn, and when the car started again, it reconnected automatically and I was ready for audio.
