  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

How do you read the firmware version? My log file shows 21/10//5 for firmware version.
Well then I don’t have the latest firmware either haha. I have 21/7//5 lol

i thought that might be why my
Gauges were freezing anytime I looked at a log (this problem started today). Just went out and I am still having the same problem. As soon as I leave the display page to check a log my gauges all freeze except for my boost gauge. I have to disconnect the Bluetooth and reconnect it for them to work again. Then I check a log and bam they freeze again. Even made sure the app itself is up to date also

Tell them so send you a new cable. It helped in my case.

I’ve always been great with wiring so I’ll give it the quick once over in the morning and if there is no obvious damage I’ll give bms a quick email. Thank you for the help

Hmm, interesting. I just pulled one of my last logs of jb4 and it says 21/8//5 and I thought I had the latest firmware installed.....or I was too busy at work lately and I didn't notice they posted v9 then v10? I'll check it out tonight after work, lol

I have the v10 now and my afr does some wires crap when I let off the throttle now. Before I would do a WOT pull and once I let off my afr would go to a 3.8. Now once I let off it jumps up to 25.5. Not sure what’s going on with that

25.5 means no fuel. When you're not on gas, no frills is being injected.
However the funny thing is, when Coasting, there is fuel even though the engine and transmission decouples!

I knew it was no fuel I’m just wondering why before I updated it the afr would go to 3.8 after WOT and now it’s 25.5. I sent a log to bms for them to make sure everything is looking good This did only start happening after I uploaded the v10 firmware

Got my BOOSTane delivery kit all set up. Got 4 8 oz bottles to divide up my qt bottle and the bottle marking make it convenient to add .5oz for every gallon I pump in. Beefer has the same setup Sans the air tight container. Gloves and towels for any drips.

Where did you get the bottles from?

So a couple of pulls I've done on map2. Feels pretty good, but how does it look?

The second and third logs look great. Afr holds steady, timing doesn’t look like it’s pulled at all. Post it to the other forum( someone else will know which one it is) I just send mine to bms if I have concerns about something. But for the most part I wouldn’t worry about a log that looks like that at all

For us non-tech and non-car savvy people, if/when you purchase the JB4, is there sufficient documentation and/or instructions on how to read the graphs? Because, honestly, even after reading every single post in this thread, they're mostly still goobolygook to me.

Honestly it just takes a little time. Look and compare others logs that are posted and look at what comments are made about them to slowly pick up little hints at what to look for. Then the more and more you look at logs the more you should be able to understand ( in theory)

It's going to be fun!
