  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi: I am looking for a very soft indoor car cover to cover my 2009 Black Genesis. Does anyone have suggestions to which car cover I should purchase. It needs to be very light weight, easy to store and most of all very soft ( like a Linen type material) to prevent marking of the paint. The paint on my car is very highly finished and some covers that I have looked at are too harsh a material. Canadian tire has several selections but all are too harsh of a material. Any suggestions or personal experiences would be very much appreciated. Thanks to all.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I have an evolution 4 cover by covercraft from AutoAnything. It's a nice cover and an excellent fit, however it is more of an outdoor cover. You have to get the custom one though, as the semi-custom does not fit - too short lengthwise. I originally wanted no mirror pockets so I bought the semi-custom, but no dice so went with custom and have pockets...

It is fairly soft inside, but by no means flannel type. I think it was $220 or so. If you find what you are looking for, please make sure to post brand, source and cost here; I might be interested in a 2nd cover.

Thanks

If there is an automotive upholstery shop nearby you might take the car over and see what they can make. They usually have a wide array of fabrics and can tailor the cover to your car exactly.

Purchased a Sparco Car Cover which I must say is beautiful. It's as soft as silk bedding and is double lined with special attention paid to dust free soft protection. I purchased from Canadian Tire for $176.00 CDN and I purchased it in a Medium size which covers up to 200 inches in length. I will attach a picture in my next post. I need to downsize it.
