Any help in choosing a power chip for increase of HP as well as MPG on 2012 v-6 333hp Genesis sedan. Prefer do it yourself plug and go type to avoid warranty issue when taking for service.
Yep- a shame. It added 30 hp to an already torquey VW diesel motor for me- that was a 20%ish gain.

Question...
A: Why is this still a question.
B: Why is this thread even still open.
What is your reasoning for seeking more horsepower? Generally speaking horsepower and fuel economy are mutually exclusive.
That is you can adversely change one without effecting the other. If your right foot demands more throttle, the ECU will deliver more fuel. It's quite simple. If you desire more off the line grunt, then it's torque you're seeking - not horsepower. Plenty of vehicles provide ample acceleration of the line with gobs of torque available. Perhaps a turbo diesel may have been a better choice?.?
