If you are looking to reject heat, I'd suggest a Ceramic film which has the highest heat rejection rate of any film. It blocks a lot of Infared rays that most films don't block well. A ceramic film will block more heat then the sun shade since the sun shade is perforated. Others on this forum have used Formula 1 Pinnacle and have been very pleased.
I am going with the new Llumar Air Blue 80% on the front...it rejects 42% of heat. And yes, it is ceramic.
The other tinting will also be ceramic but in the 35-50% range.
Are you suggesting tint over the shades as well?
