  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know or has confirmed that the coupe 18" wheels will work on the 4.6? I got some major curb rash the other day and figured that the coupe wheels would look good and cost about the same for 4 wheels vs. 1 sedan.

I had the same idea for mine. There are at times a set of coupe 19" wheels for sale on Ebay. The fact that they are 8" and 8.5" means that one could use say 245-40/19 front and 275-35/19 rear and be close to the original diameter, not confuse the traction control and give the car a mean stance. The bolt pattern is the same however the offset is I think 22mm and the sedan is 39mm. This kicks the wheel out at about 3/4 of an inch plus half the width increase at each corner. This would widen the front track by at least 1.5 inches and will do God knows what to the steering geometry as the wheels turn from one side to another. In the rear the extra leverage could increase negative camber causing extra tire wear on the inside edges of the tire. What no one knows or at least has been able to tell me is whether or not they will clear the front calipers making the whole exercise moot.

I have a set of Coupe wheels for sale, they are brand new, never been mounted. I also have a set of tires that have not been mounted yet. Learned last week that a baby is on the way and the wife has talked me into selling the tires and wheels instead of putting them on my car. I'm $1028 into the wheels and $1132 into the tires. Anyone interested?

those wheels look nice on the sedan

Love the look!

I'm not 100% sure but I see that you have what looks like the Wing center-caps that I have for my stock 17" wheels. The more I look the more I like, especially since I have the exact same color car.

I added some more pics. Please feel free to leave comments. I know before I got these wheels installed I did research for over a year and found next to nothing on the topic.

Old thread but just to confirm, the Genesis Coupe of same year wheels will fit the Genesis sedan?

The coupe 19in track wheels will fit. But if it's the staggered version (8.5 rear, 8 front) then you'll need at least a 5mm spacer on the front of the sedan 4.6

If you get the coupe wheels 8.5 all around you won't need a spacer.

Saw some for sale that I thought I would put on my snow tires.

I have the coupe wheels on my sedan, and have posted the pics.
