  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Dealers with 2019s

That may well be correct but seems crazy.

Genesis got their manufacturer's license back in November but I have not found any dealers that have applied for a license under Genesis.

You would think the population could support one, but . . .
Denver has 700.000 people and if you google Hyundai dealers in Denver you get the closest in Aurora. You'd think the state could support at least one. Maybe just not the right deal.

Okay, I guess I have to give the state a pass. Genesis is not off the hook for not being able to recruit even one dealer in the Denver area to sell their vehicles.

This is your lucky day! My update this morning shows Genesis of Arapahoe has just been issued their dealer code.

Dear Friends of Genesis:
There is a movie set in Tucson, called Old Tucson where they film westerns. Most of the John Wayne, etc cowboy movies have been filmed there. Living in Tucson I visited it many times and took visitors. The streets look real, but if you open the door to the bar, saloon, hotel, there is nothing behind it. They are fake fronts.
Somewhere in all these back postings some one boasted that Genesis had as many dealerships as Lexus, or was it BMW. I have done my research and know how many Genesis G90 were sold last year and I know how many BMW 740's where sold last year. Look it up, there is no comparison. I don't know why you keep posting the number of dealerships, as if we now can all be relieved that all is well in Genesis land. There's an old saying, there's a liar, there's a dam liar, and then there is a statistician. A lot of sugar coating on a lot of these blogs by a few people. Love my G90, the organization behind it, let me look behind the door.

There's also a grumpy old lady that likes to repetitively complain about shit. Not everyone has the same experience and these postings are to keep those who want the information up to date. The number of cars sold by other dealers has no correlation to your issue and by that logic all those luxury cars are worthless compared to Toyota and Honda

Same people that like to sugar coat everything. Beware! I am not going away. Sticks and stones will hurt my bones, but names will never harm me.

I post as a service to those who are looking for information concerning the dealers. I would appreciate it if you could please refrain from posting in this thread, You are free to create your own if you want to constantly drone on about your situation. Thank you,

Where is the lie? Yes, we know other brands that have been established here for decades have outsold the 3 year old brand that is just establishing new dealers.

I certainly don't expect that a dealer open for three months would sell as many cars compared to a dealer that has been established for 25 years. Nice to know there is a better support system in place and growing. That is not sugar coating, it is real life.

I don't know why you keep posting the same tired drivel, as if we now can all give up and throw our car keys in the toilet because you've finally convinced us that all is not well in Genesis land. We get it: you hate Genesis.

Beware! I am not going away.

What's most odd is you seem to have nothing better to do now than to post over and over again about how bad Genesis is. You really need to find something far more productive to do with your time, because your message may be sent over and over again, but I promise you that due to your incessant droning, your message is no longer received.

Sticks and stones will hurt my bones, but names will never harm me.

*sigh*

Are we sure you're old enough to drive?

So just a heads up for everyone (since I just found out), you can click on someone's profile and mute them. You won't see any of their posts unless you click the grey "Show ignored content" at the bottom right of last post in a page :welcome:

Edit: "Ignore"*** them

Hyundai of Chapple Hills in Colorado Springs received 2 of the PGA cars. Both 3.3T sport rwd, one havana red, one mallorca blue. Black interiors with red stitching. The have them at $52,998 and 440+ miles.

This means there is hope!!!! They still told me not to expect new inventory for 1-2 months,

Did you see my post saying Arapahoe’s dealer code has been issued? Hopefully it will only be weeks until inventory arrives but who knows given how it has gone.

You think the Dakotas will get dealers? What other States are missing dealers? I know Alaska has none.

I don't think they, along with a bunch of other states, will for now. Maybe once the SUVs are available there will be more states. Then again anything can happen.

There are 9 states which do not have at least one dealer with a dealer code: Alaska, Idaho, Maine, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming.

No, that is exciting! :dance:McDonald Hyundai told me today that there was an issue with their application and they are having to resubmit. A salesperson there is the one that told me Phil Long had the 2 G70s.

I live in Grand Rapids and the closest dealer is in Holland, which is 38 miles from my house. It appears that the local Hyundai dealer, Fox Hyundai, has declined a Genesis franchise, which leaves the largest market in West Michigan without a dealership.

Won't 38 miles work? Was thinking that was within their service distance.
