Owning a Genesis 2020 was the worst experience I ever had. I have to share this with everyone so people know what kind of unprofessionalism they can expect from these people in Genesis Regina.
After I repurchased the new Genesis G70 2020 in 2019 since the first winter till now, I have a list and video recordings of breakdowns where some of them could even be life-threatening; for example, you stop in the middle of the road. Your car will not move; picture this on the train tracks.

When you have problem after problem, it is natural that you will call them to repair it asap. It seems like people in Genesis don't like to do their job even though I am paying for it. Countless times I received my car having the same problem they said they fixed it. But after a while, I asked them if they can replace the vehicle due to a ridiculous amount of issues, but no, they did not care. So the problems continue.
Here we are closer to the end of the summer, and my AC is still not working in 2020 GENESIS." luxury" brand, rear trunk auto opening system is not working for two years now, NO ONE CARES in Genesis.
As long as we are paying them money, who cares, right!

"At Home Valet with Courtesy Vehicle Service*2For service and maintenance appointments, simply contact Genesis at Home, and we'll come to your location of choice to pick up your vehicle. While your vehicle is being serviced, a Genesis courtesy vehicle is left at your disposal."

As you can see in the text above, this is what they sell you when you buy a vehicle. BUT! the people that work for Genesis have no idea this is the case. OR! they like to make a fool out of their customers and possibly laugh in the background.
Why would I think this well? Here is an example:
On the first call I received to schedule the service appointment, we set up the date and hand up the phone, and everything was fine.

The person on the phone sounds surprised and expected me to deliver the vehicle even tho Genesis promoting the included At Home Valet with Courtesy Vehicle Service. So I asked her if she was familiar with buying the genesis vehicle's most essential and most known perk. She told me to wait a minute and came back, apologies to me and told me that they would schedule the new appointment. I was reasonable and said, no problem, let's do that. So we set the date and finish the conversation.

NOW this is where it gets very annoying. I received another call from the same person asking me about my experience, but you can guess no one arrived, the same case as the first time.
At this point, I am sure the people in Genesis are disrespectful, So after some arguments, I found a way to calm myself down, and they put me through to someone else and that someone else set up the new date and apologize to me and said from now on it will not happen.

And here we are today, 2021 07 29, almost a month of being late for my service. I am receiving the same call; how was my experience even tho no one ever called or picked up my car. FOR THE THIRD TIME!

Are you a person or a bot? Spamming the same post in three different threads isn't going to get you more attention.

As to your story, if this has been going on for two years, why haven't you tried a different dealership? And if the issues are that severe, why haven't you bothered with lemon laws? You don't simply ask a dealer to replace your vehicle, you have to go through the lemon law process which it doesn't sound like you even bothered with.

My Genesis experience has been nearly flawless. My dealer, Classic Genesis of Mentor pickups / drops off my car and loans me a brand new Genesis (I have got both G70s and G80s) and I LIVE 57 MILES FROM MY DEALER! The closest thing to a problem I have ever had with them is sometimes they tell me it will be 1 week plus (but never more than 2 weeks) until they have a loaner available.
They are currently scheduled come get my car on August 23 to replace 3 pieces of window trim (under warranty of course). They will be leaving me a Genesis loaner. They always arrive on time (within 30 minutes) and always keep me up to date on the work being done. This is, without question the best after purchase service experience I have ever received.
If your experience is not like this maybe you purchased your vehicle from the wrong dealer.....

He is in Canada so I don't know if they have a choice of where to go. Not sure what they have for lemon laws.

From what I understand it's up the the individual dealer to offer this or not. The first dealer I went to to buy my G80 said they didn't offer it.

The local dealer said they did offer it but I've never tried to use it since I have only mostly been doing oil changes. But I did notice that a couple of times I did ask for a loaner car they have always said none were available. So I think Genesis is at many dealers is just smoke and mirrors. Genesis needs separate dealerships like Lexus, Infinite etc...

Ever buy a $100,000 Corvette at a Chevy dealership? You are treated the same as someone buying a Malibu.
 
The Hyundai dealer was going to check out my car for a potential oil leak. They were going to charge $200 and said they were going to charge me extra because it is a Genesis. So same treatment as somebody who drives a Hyundai but you will be paying more. I took the car to my own mechanic who did it for free (luckily no leak).

Canada has something similar to lemon law and Hyundai is a participating company according to their list.

The Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan​

If you cannot resolve the issue with the manufacturer, you may be eligible for the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP).

This program can help you resolve disputes with automobile manufacturers. Most vehicles purchased or leased in Canada and made in the last four years are covered by CAMVAP. CAMVAP provides binding arbitration that may be an alternative to court.

The resolutions under this program can range from reimbursement for vehicle repairs to manufacturer buyback of the defective vehicle.

A few manufacturers aren't part of CAMVAP, and so vehicles purchased from them aren't covered by the program. Furthermore, if you have purchased a vehicle in the United States, or a vehicle that isn't designed for the Canadian market, then you aren't covered under CAMVAP, unless the manufacturer agrees to the arbitration process. Check the CAMVAP website for further information including a list of participating manufacturers.

Post a pic of your car so that we know that you are really an owner of a 2020 G70. I do not know that you are a actual owner or a internet troll working for another automaker just bashing Genesis to ruin the company reputation.

Why do you find it so hard to believe the OP has an issue with genesis? Will every user with a complaint now have to vet themselves? Why as for a picture, anyone can take a picture. Lets make a new rule requiring everyone who complains about these perfect genesis vehicles that never have an issue to post their drivers license, registration, and social...Enough of the fanboy mania.

Maybe you should go over all the positive posts with your forensic analysis. Some people type very long posts in a notepad or word because it takes them a while to get their thoughts down. Maybe it was copy and pasted from a complaint letter he sent. Who knows. That doesn't indicate that it's fake.
