Yea, I've actually done the reset three times a few days apart. After I did it the first time I lost connected services and nothing the help desk could do would restore it. I suggested removing my vehicle from my account, like I had sold the car, then re-associating it to the account with the
VIN. The tech removed the car and I restored it on the web site with the
VIN ( that restored connected services). I also had to setup the driver settings again. I've had to setup the driver settings 3 times now. I've actually taken a picture of every setup screen (I guess there are around 130 screens). None of these actions fixed the speed limit sign.
BTW, not discussed much but another feature was lost in the cluster when using cruise control. If cruise control is active and the speed limit changes (up or down), you should get a white flashing arrow pointing up or down in the area where the cruise control info is displayed. This is an indicator to alert you the speed limit has changed and you need to adjust the cruise control speed setting. Mine worked perfectly b4 the update, but never since. This feature is described in the manual page 7-56. Picture attached. It is called "warning overspeed". The other feature on that same page "changing set speed" was also lost with the update. Both of these originally worked great.
Just to clarify, I did the "all" reset 3 times, not just the driver, in setup-general settings-reset-reset all
