  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Not so long ago, Hyundais came to the USA. They offered a budget car that many could afford. Unfortunately, that budget car was pretty crappy. It left a sour taste in the minds of the consumer, and it was tossed aside as a vehicle nobody wanted.

Nowadays, people say, "Oh it's just a Hyundai" or "It's still just a Hyundai". But more and more people are paying attention. Quality cars, good looks, low prices. They are establishing themselves as a car manufacturer that's here to stay. And now, working together with my partners, our company is trying to bring the Genesis Sedan into the spotlight. I'm sure we all say the great show vehicles from SEMA. This is a hint of the future of Hyundai.

In Japan, they have long taken luxury vehicles and made it special. Perhaps performance was never the issue. But it was about comfort, style, and exclusiveness. It was about clean lines, understated elegance, and an air of mystery. They created the tuning concept known as VIP.

The first time I saw the Genesis Sedan, I knew it had the potential to upset the Japanese market for VIP vehicles. Traditionally, Lexus and Infiniti equivalents in Japan were the only vehicles supported. Garson (DAD) and many other companies concentrated on these luxury vehicles. Nowadays we see VIP being used on a few more vehicles.

So after reading all of that, I would like to introduce you to our proposal. We are searching for someone in the SoCal area for a partial sponsorship. This isn't for those looking for free or extremely discounted parts for doing nothing. There is an application process, a contract, and obligations to fulfill (mainly shows). We will also do some marketing for you - talk to our contacts in the auto industry, magazines, and other sources. In fact, if done nicely enough, there is a possibility for you to showcase your car at SEMA next season.

We've worked with our factories to have 2 things ready for this already. Current partial sponsorship gives you the open door to future products at discounted pricing or possibly free. Please see my next post for the two products

D2FORGED Wheels was formed to fulfill a void in the landscape of aftermarket wheels. Characterized by tasteful, yet distinctive designs and classic wheel profiles which yield a more aggressive aesthetic. Our wheels serve as the perfect compliment to your vehicle. D2FORGED Wheels are crafted from the highest quality aerospace grade alloys, assembled by hand and subjected to numerous quality control inspections. Our wheels are also rigorously tested for strenth and durability.

Although primarily designed for exotic, sports, and premium luxury vehicles, D2FORGED Wheels can be custom crafted for most any car.

Our wheels feature a 1 year finish and lifetime structural warranty. We have gone to great lengths to provide a product of the utmost quality, thus each wheel features a seal of authenticity, with serial number on the inner rim.

All D2FORGED Wheels feature hubcentric build, tpms compatibility, and require no hardware other than lugnuts to mount. There are no centering rings or spacers required. Each design is available in 3pc fully forged construction or 2pc forged modular construction. 2pc construction includes all the features and benefits of 3pc, including functional fasteneing hardware, large caliper clearance, and chrome lip. 2pc centers are joined to the barrel via rivets and can be dis-assembled for repair / replacement.

If you want bigger pics, feel free to contact me. What's really cool about these rims is that we can produce these wheels so that they would accept the OEM center caps. We can also custom color the wheels if we don't have it - sometimes at no extra cost

Pricing will be lower than any other dealers. In fact, I've already made a deal allowing me the highest discount rate amongst all D2 distributors. We will need to test fit the wheels to figure out which size and offsets look best. You can choose the style.

Here's an example of one of the wheels on a sponsored vehicle.

Very interesting.. I'm sure we can find somebody interested in the Southern California area.. Is there any way we could have the GenesisOwners.com domain name in the marketing mix as well? After all, the more people know about us, the more people know about ESP Tuning. ;) Let me know what you think...

Thank you...

of course. a genesisowners.com sticker or two could be easily made - we can chat about it as soon as we choose a person. i've gotten a few PM's, so we'll go from there. as you aren't bankrolling the wheels...and trust me they're EXPENSIVE, you might not get the prime spot. but it'll be in a visible area. with at least one shot in media coverage.

also - when i say expensive let's say msrp is 5600 for 3 piece and 5100 for 2 piece. going street price right now for most dealers is $4550 for the 3 piece. you would get it at what the dealer gets it for, or less. i can't post what that price is but PM me if you're interested. 2 piece would be cheaper obviously.

Sounds good.. Please keep me (us) posted...

Thank you!

realized pictures for shades wasn't showing up. found the problem fixed it

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Great choice on the D2 wheels, I have known Derrick for quite a few years now on other forums and ordered my iForged wheels from him. Great guy and I hope his wheel line does very well.

I am a huge fan of the VIP styling and think the genesis is a perfect candidate for VIP. Hopefully the aftermarket movement takes off and we will see bodykits offered from such companies as Wald, Junction Produce, etc.

This is a great opportunity for someone in the socal area

seriously doubt JP and wald will offer something for hyundai. they're much too proud. we'll try to contract some company to make something for the genesis soon hopefully

probably right about JP and wald, but they could do amazing things with this car. Hopefully Tein will come out with some sort of coilover.
