  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Favorite Color Combos for G70

Santiago Silver really pops, so i’d recommens giving that a look during the daytime. Would you consider Siberian Ice? That also is a head turner color. Himalayan Gray is really classy and understated. It’s beautiful, but isn’t going to “pop” as much as the brighter colors.

Thanks, RTK! Feel like SI won’t “pop” either. Agree on the Gray being classy and understated. SS is probably the best choice in the end...tint the windows and go from there!

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a new G70 but going crazy trying to decide between 3 colors...Red, Siver, Gray. Saw a red one today and was a little disappointed (had too much orange in it). Currently have a silver Audi A7 which I love, but was also thinking that the Gray might be a nice change (if not a little too dark). Thinking Gray or Black interior minus the red stitching no matter which exterior color. Want a head turner for sure. HELP, please!
I like the silver. Can you like the silver 2 cars in a row? I've not seen the gray in person, but for me it looks too dark on the web page.

Thanks, EdP...I think so. I like it in my current car but it doesn’t pop the way I had hoped it would. I think the SS has more potential to do that (and most likely, would more than the Gray).

SS - and I always look back.....at my car...after walking away...

Beautiful! But that looks white?!

It has a very strong metallic flake in the paint, almost pearlescent at times. In bright sun it really does look very light, almost shimmery, but it's definitely silver. In the above picture my camera is just overexposed because it was overcast outside, so it looks lighter than it really is. Pictured below is when I first saw it, indoors.

Can see the flake a bit better on this one. It's a unique and beautiful looking silver.

SI doesn’t pop? Probably the MOST unique color out there. People just stop and stare...for longer than they probably should!!

I think each of the colors you mentioned is terrific. SI is likely the most unique (as in do not see very many cars that look that color); SS looks different in different lighting--to me sometimes almost white/very light, but definitely silver; HG--in person I do not find it too dark, in some pics (depending on lighting/shadows) it seems very dark.
I went HG -- liked the color a lot and had recently had a silver car so was trying for something different; I also really liked the SI. . . well, and several other colors. :)

My brother's Q50 is a similar gray to HG. It's definitely classy and makes the little gray trim on the rear bumper almost invisible, but if you're looking for something that pops (conservatively) SS is the way to go. The finance manager at the dealer I purchased from has a 3.3 Sport in SS and I may have drooled a little bit when I first saw it

As you know, colors can make a car stand out and it is a very subjective decision. For me, being 58 and remembering the 70's, I like a dark exterior color (love the dark grey) with a contrasting light color interior (grey in this case). Genesis also has a dark blue which goes well with grey interior. Both exterior colors pop when waxed and that makes a big difference. I have had 2 cars with the metallic red color of the one 2 posts up from yours and for me that would be option 3. In all 3 cases, be prepared to work on keeping them shiny in order to enjoy the car more. Good luck and follow your eyes in selecting what makes you like your car.

I got the Siberian Ice, and don't regret it at all, but this car does look great in the Santiago Silver. It came in a close second when I chose.
decisions, decisions... My preference list so far is Siberian Ice, Santiago Silver, Mallorca Blue.. unfortunately I also want the manual and that really limits my potential choice... only Black and Dark Blue manuals near me. :(

The Mallorca pops way more than the Adriatic blue which is more subdued. But can't go wrong with either. It is good to have choices.

Siberian Ice is the most unique I've seen. Always needs a second glance to try and figure out what color it is. ha. good luck, can't go wrong either way

to help with pix... here is adriatic blueView attachment 20446
Those dark colors are beautiful when they are shined up! I had to resurrect this thread and give you a thumbs up! I believe you're going to have a unique car among unique cars on the road!

I actually ordered an SI.
But I found it really hard to choose a color or find nice pix online, espacially adriatic. So i thought id upload this one.
In 2 months, i've only seen 2 G70's on the road.
And to see the colors i want, I have to go to different dealers before they deliver.
Not the best way to see the exact model and color. Thats the only downside to them not having a dealer with a decent lot over here.
