Few beginner question for my new Coupe

Just picked up a 2.0T 6-speed last night. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a few questions:

1.) Is it possible to easily wire the OEM fog lights into my Coupe which did not come with them? Just wondering if there were plugged off wires or anything for them.

2.) Has anybody installed a turbo timer for one of these things? If so, is it something that can be done in the interior or do you have to run wires and cut into stuff at all?

3.) Has anybody used one of these BOV kits with the stock block off plate? http://www.genracer.com/atp-turbo-blow-off-valve-bov-piping-kit.html

^ fog light should be a straight forward install, you want to watch out for issues that void your warranty.

why not just buy the upgrade from the dealer???

a BOV, and Turbo timer are utterly useless, and serve no purpose to gain any power, a BOV is some cases can hurt power. blow off valves discharge metered air from the intake charge after fuel has already been compensated for the amount of metered air before the atmospheric discharge. resulting in a temporary drop in wide-band 02 readings ( rich fuel mixture )

this, however small, will actually make your car slower and without a doubt void your warranty.

and if you have the nifty key fob, the car... turbo timer or not, will turn off as soon as you are out of range. unless you leave the keys in the car, in such case anybody can come in and drive off in you nice new ride.

please dont destroy your poor car

They don't even sound nice, I refuse to let my boyfriend put one in my car.

I also have a few beginner questions. But I thought i would just use this post instead of creating my own. The first question i have is what will and will not void my warranty as far as performance upgrades go? I just picked up a .genesis 3.8 and i love it! But I want more power? What is a good place to start?

^ anything you alter to gain more performance will void you warranty.

hyundai's take on it will be as follows ( well you see, his new air fliter caused his car to go to fast which made him spin out and be unable to steer away from the tree that went through his wind shield, caused a thermal event and killed the owner...... we are not liable)

No offense to SEED but you are not completely correct. You do want to be careful what you do to your car so the warranty is not voided but there are some things you can do which by law cannot void your warranty unless otherwise proven to have directly caused the problem.
