  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I had a long day driving and at around 600 miles I had a flash of lights on the dash display. By the time I looked down every thing was normal, so I was more aware of it and in about 5 minutes it happened again and this time I saw that it was both turn signal lights flash 2 twice. Then nothing happened for about an hour and then it did it again. Both lights together flashed twice.
I drove for another 200 miles and nothing happened.

I don't know if it was an electrical malfunction or if it is a problem code. Does anyone have any ideas? Does the Gen use the turn signal lights for computer codes?

This is on a V6 base model.

Thanks for any input.

Sounds like a connection with the hazard button. What happens when you push it and push it again?

I don't know. I never tried it and I can't for awhile as it is St Louis and I'm at Lake of the Ozarks. I guess it is possible, but I have driven over some pretty rough roads and it never happened before. I'll check with the dealer when I next go in.

Thanks for the reply.
