The question I have is why you replaced the bulbs in the first place. Was it to get better fog lighting with a yellow bulb? In too many cases, I see people replacing their fogs to get another set of headlights which are really blinding.
I replaced the stock H8's with the Nokia 2500K Yellow bulbs because Yellow cuts through fog and haze better than white (or blue which is the opposite of yellow) and because I like the look of yellow bulbs combined with the white HID headlights. (Blue is the very worse light you can put on a car).
I would rather that Hyundai designed the lighting system so that the "Fog" Lamps would come on with only the parking/position lamps, however on the Genesis, you must also have the headlights on to put the fog lamps on. If you are truly driving in the fog, the headlight will reflect light back to your eyes, but if fogs could be on without headlights, the yellow light would cut through the fog haze better, plus they are lower and would not reflect back into your eyes.
I have two H7 Yellow bulbs sitting in a box, and I once was thinking of installing them in my High Beam, but then decided "Nah", better not. The stock white H7's do a good job on high beam.
Lastly, the stock H8 white fogs do nothing to help you see better at night. I think Hyundai put them there just for show. Another reason I like the 2500K Yellow H8 is to be seen, not to see. (I have HID's [and H7's] for that).
