The September 2009 Motor-Trend, (new car buyer's guide) says;
In its second year, the Genesis adds smart cruise control, which keeps the vehicle at a set time/distance from the car ahead, and an electronic parking brake. Touch-screen nav is new. Bluetooth connectivity has been expanded, and ultra premium leather now comes standard on more models. Note that the one-year complimentary subscription to Sirius XM Satellite Radio with NavTraffic has been reduced to a 90-day trial.
I don't know how they know this information. I like the idea of the "Electronic Parking Brake" if it is like the one in my Continental. (I push the brake down with my foot, but it releases when I put the car in Drive). I still would rather have a hand operated parking brake that sits next to the seat.
As for the "Touch-Screen Nav Unit", I hope not! Although I'm not trading my 09 for a 10, I find that I like the Navi unit as is, much better than the Touch-Screen unit. My previous car had the Touch-Screen unit, and when I first purchased the Genesis, I did not like the Genesis unit, now however, I LIKE THE SYSTEM IN THE GENESIS MUCH BETTER THAN THE TOUCH-SCREEN. All it takes is to learn how to use it. The Touch-Screen gets filthy dirty. The areas of the screen that you touch most often wears out the coating on the screen. I was constantly cleaning the screen. I've never had to clean the Genesis screen. My buddy has a Touch-Screen Navi in his car and that screen if full of finger prints, and dirt and crud and five minutes after he cleans it, it gets filthy again at the first touch.
