Front Door Sill light no working

How easy/hard is it to replace the front door sill light?

Driver's side is burned out (or worse) and need some assistance on whether I should take it to the dealer of if a novice can replace it.

I've not done any exploratory ventures ATM.

It could be wurst. Your premium package model does not come with lighted sills.

Does anyone know about my OP? It's a 2010 4.6L w/Tech package.
All the other 3 door sill lights are fine.

The League Office has reviewed the video and determined that no hi-jack took place, and no violation has occurred.

Are you talking about the sill that should light up with the word "Genesis"? If so, just pull up on the sill and it should be stuck to the underside I believe

They are easy to replace but do take a bit of force to remove the first time. I recommend a plastic trim removal kit instead of a screwdriver so you don't scratch them.

Front door sill has one clip on the vertical part and two on the flat section as well as a plastic wedge that slides into an opening. I removed it starting at the back loosening the flat section and then the vertical clip.

Thank y'all for the help..... my fear now is that I may break the clip..... *sigh* I would imagine my dealer would charge at least an arm to fix it and maybe a leg too!!

A plastic pancake flipper works well to pry up the sill plate. Before you do it, though, ask the guy at the Hyundai parts counter if he has what you will need.

I have NO clue (as usual) as to which parts I would need. Are you talking about the sill itself or the plastic clips or something else? (sorry, I'm not much of a DIYer but trying hard to be)

I think he meant plastic clips that hold the sills in place.

So, you go up to the parts counter. You tell the guy your car is parked outside and the sill light is burned out. Then he says something like "pull up the sill and I'll sell you a bulb." I think you can take it from here. The whole point is don't pull off the sill till you know that the part guy has what you need in stock.

You question about your 2012 has nothing to do with my OP.

A little sensitive, huh? Try a chill-pill dude or you're gonna' strip out.
