1 Watt LED Bulbs​

This will fit wonderfully as a replacement in your courtesy (door step) lights to change the color to a nice pure white.

This bulb is a 1-watt super-bright LED with built-in heat sink for reliable and long operation. It is 3 times as bright as our normal LED Inverted 194 bulb. The bulb is made up of a quality plastic connector to slide right into the plug, as well as high durability terminals. A load resistor is embedded to prevent blowing the LED from voltage surge, and a diode is implanted to protect the LED from reverse polarity. The LED is wired for 12v operation, the kind found on all vehicles.

Included in your order is one PAIR (2 bulbs). For single LED bulb prices, please contact us. We sell them in pairs because this is the most practical for most buyers. THIS BULB IS AVAILABLE IN WHITE ONLY.

I don't think you read the question. There are three choices:

1. under the doors, or
2. for the foot wells
3. both

This 1 watt miniature LED fits at the bottom of each of the doors. Superbrightleds.com also sell the same LED and it comes in a variety of colors. The color of the "Natural White" LED (part # WLED-NWLX) is 6000 K and matches the interior lighting of the Genesis perfectly. The LED provides much more brightness than the stock bulb; the size of the light lobe is somewhat larger than the original bulb.

The LED is a bit of a tight fit because its diameter is a slightly greater than the stock bulb; it is difficult, if not impossible to fully push it into its socket. The LED also protudes out of its socket more than the stock bulb i.e. once installed, it just touches the plastic diffuser housing. The light pattern the LED projects on the ground appears somewhat mottled... this is probably because the LED is too close to the plastic diffuser.

While not a perfect mechanical fit, the color and brightness of this LED is great !

These seem much shorter than the superbrightled.com ones. Perhaps they'll fit better. We'll need to see pics of the color output to be sure that it matches.
