I had a scheduled appointment this morning for the Dealer service department check my fueling issue.
I had let the fuel tank get below 1/4 tank before making the appointment.
So this morning on the way to have the car serviced I figured I better stop for possibly just a gal of gas to see if the problem still exists. Wouldn't you know it fueled just fine.
I stopped at a 2nd station and it fueled there just fine as well.
Thought about canceling the appointment but decided to go through with it and explain the issue the best I could. The service department could not find a problem as well. No big surprise since it wasn't happening this morning. After finishing up with the dealer I returned to my local COSTCO since I still needed about 1/2 a tank to fill up.
This would be the ultimate test because this is one of the locations I previously experienced the problem 3 different times. Worked fine! As of this moment it would seem I no longer have a fueling issue.
Not a total loss at the dealer this morning because I had them program the drivers door button to open all 4 doors with one press.
Thanks all for your input.
I have the same problem. I had to manually hold and squizz the nozzle partially so that it won't shut off. I suspect the neck of the tank might create the splash back to the nozzle due to pump strength. I experienced this issue with diff. Costco pumps.
