Fun Rspec vids: elec exhaust cut-outs, burnouts, bridge tests

For the forum. Thanks for all your comments and compliments about my upgrades. You all make it fun to share. Many requests for more vids have been answered here. I am adding more vids tonight. Here is the first vid showcasing the sound using the full range of my electronic exhaust cutouts. Interior vs exterior comparisons will also be added shortly.

Note: no camera is able to capture the true sound of exhaust. It's distorted on film making this effort frustrating. Sorry. Turn up your bass to help.

So partial open...how would you compare it to the Borla? If i dont get these cut-outs...I shall get the borla lol

OneFunGenesis. You got it! I would say my exhaust at partial open would be quieter than Borla.....especially in 8th gear cruising. My system set to partially open will be quieter b/c it takes airflow to make it sing. The Borla will always have the echo tube type sound at any speed.....which is cool.....for a few days. . When on the gas at any speed, my system in any setting will definitely be louder since its unrestricted.

Thanks for the comments guys and appreciation for all the work to post the vids. I can't imagine how many more cars Hyundai would sell if everyone started throwing money at the salesmen as posted above.

Hahaha thanks man. I have a cat back on my 4 banger now so I DEFINITELY know about cat-backs being loud all the time. Something I don't really want again.

Imagine waking up with a slight headache...having to go to work...getting in your car... and hearing BBBBVVVVVVRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTT for 20 mins. Killer....plain killer

Yah, those times when you don't want then loud exhaust are more times than not.

I went by some SRT8 dealerships today and the salesman were interested in the Rspec. They all commented on the exhaust note I had set on mild. After I bragged on the Rspec a little, they all came outside to hear the full open sound. I gave then a good show as I departed.

Correct, but my 3rd vid should give you a good idea for cruising. On highway, if I'm on a flat road just cruising, my exhaust not is barely audible. But when you approach a hill or apply throttle, your awakened to a constant loud rumble inside the car(if set to wide open).

Either way, I will try and get y a highway vid, but can't promise when.

Not sure what's going on

Brought the R Spec into a custom shop yesteday - this being my fourth one on two days.

The owner of the shop ( despite his sons urging ) would not modify the cars exhaust

I even went as far as to ask him to just measure the mufflers alone - without any talk of exhaust work - so I could order them- and he still refused.

He thought I was nuts to want to give the car a more aggressive sound

I'm not kidding

There's one guy left I haven't tried yet - and that's only because the dude never picks up his phone

The R Spec NEEDS a more aggressive sound.....and Driv200 proves it - His videos are great !!!

The sound is incredible....

Exhaust shops turning down work ?!!!

What gives ?

Your exhaust with the valves sounds really good.also the fact that
you can shut the valve at any time is pretty cool.would like to do the same thing can u tell me about ur system. what kind of exhaust, valves etc

So far I've decided to hold off on the Exhaust

The secondary Cat Deletes sound great

So I'm sticking with that for now
