Do we know if these will fit the 3.3T? I wouldn't think there's a difference between the 3.3T and 2.0T manual brakes, but not familiar enough to be sure and I haven't been able to find them listed for it.to anyone looking for an aftermarket (OE equivalent) pad comparable to - or perhaps the same as - the Euro factory pads, give that Dynamic Friction pad i listed earlier (Advanced 5000). that essentially matches the performance characteristics of the Euro pad. ~$65CAD front and rear, or ~$80CAD with hardware kit. seems like a shot worth taking. DF is a very reputable supplier, and for all we know could be an OE supplier. it'd be great for someone to do some digging on this. regardless, folks have been using OE equivalent aftermarket pads for decades with excellent results.
I don't think these are the same as the DFC Active Performance ones you mentioned in post #211. I completely agree with you when looking at the Active Performance pads that their performance chart is very similar to OEM euro pads (great bite, filthy from dust). If they were available for the G70 6MT and I could find a place that has those in stock, I'd pull the trigger on those right away.^ just to follow up to my earlier reply, this is the pad i would lean towards on rockauto's site:

from my read this closely matches our Euro pads. heck, DF may be an OE supplier for all i know. these pads are in the "Daily Driver" category for our 6MT trim (=Euro factory pads). the other DF 3000 pads are in the "Economy" category, and may not give you equivalent braking performance.
Thanks for your help!^ rockauto is great, and as long as you match the vehicle trims then you should be good to go. you can cross reference that part number on the manufacturer website to double check, and even reach out to the tech reps at the manufacturer to triple check. generally roackauto has clear trim descriptions which make it obvious. but it's always good practice to double check.
^ if the 3.3T has brembos then they must fit (i think all 3.3T's have brembos? they do in Canada, anyways). the 2.0T 6MT has brembos. the only difference with the braking systems between the two are the pad compounds. calipers/rotors/hoses/etc are all otherwise the same. so as long as your car has brembos you can use a pad that applies to the 2.0T 6MT.Do we know if these will fit the 3.3T? You've got me nearly convinced on buying semi metallics over the ceramics! If anyone's got a pic of their car with semi metallic pads after a few days of driving that shows the brake dust levels (ideally with the 5 spoke Sport wheels), I would love to see it^ if the 3.3T has brembos then they must fit (i think all 3.3T's have brembos? they do in Canada, anyways). the 2.0T 6MT has brembos. the only difference with the braking systems between the two are the pad compounds. calipers/rotors/hoses/etc are all otherwise the same. so as long as your car has brembos you can use a pad that applies to the 2.0T 6MT.
some pads are application-specific (i.e. formulated specifically for the 2.0T) which is why they may not list the same part number for a different trim level.
C&D famously swapped out the stock ceramic pads for the Euro pads after catastrophic failure of the stock ceramic pads when they Lighting Lapped the Stinger in 2018 (same braking system as the G70). the Stinger ended up off the track at the end of a long straight. luckily there was a grassy runout area. when they got the G70 Dynamic the next year it already came with the Euro pads. others on here have done the same swap. like the quote below says, the Euro pads shaved most of the 4.3s time difference between the two cars. that's huge.

Recently picked up front pads from Conicelli. You are correct, $358, just for pads! On the bright side, my dealer wanted $550+ for the same pads which obviously was a no go. They also didnt tell me my pads were only at 1-2mm on my last service (a month ago) which included a brake fluid flush. Found out they were that low after putting on my winter tires. Definitely disappointed with that miss.In the states, Conicelli Hyundai has the best price for the factory Euro pads I could find, but it's still crazy, like $358 just for the fronts! That's nuts.
I’m not sure if it’s been noted or not, but once you get the pads on and used some, please let us know how loud they are. I couldn’t stand the squealing of the other pads I tried. I've also used the Genesis "Euro" pads for the last year or so, and I've done multiple mountain aggressive driving trips...the pads work fantastic, never make any noise, never make any pulsations, with only more dust being the only downside, which is expected.I’m not sure if it’s been noted or not, but once you get the pads on and used some, please let us know how loud they are. Here is a picture of my car with the Euro pads on the front and rear, after roughly 1000 miles of driving since a wash where the wheels were spotless. Of that 1000 miles, half were aggressive mountain driving with heavy braking. You've got me nearly convinced on buying semi metallics over the ceramics! I have a manual Sport, so I believe Ive always had the euro pads. No noise, great braking and lots of dustI’m not sure if it’s been noted or not, but once you get the pads on and used some, please let us know how loud they are. I couldn’t stand the squealing of the other pads I tried. Thank you
There is a warranty on wearable items for 12k/12mo which I believe includes brake pads. Unfortunately I was outside that for my brake issues. I will prob go the euro pad route once my initial pads needs replacingWow, that's great! I must not have tried hard enough with corporate, I had to buy them myself.
