G70 Lips, Tails and Skirts

Thoughts on M&S spoiler? They can paint it black for $100 on top of the $215 price. I’d need that paint matched to Victoria Black but don’t know if they can do that too. Love the look for sure. But on my night roadtrips i hit some pretty high speeds and don’t know if their double sided tape will hold...

You’ll find the double sided tape is more than efficient. Most cars with oem spoilers are installed with double sided tape.

Take a look at this spoiler. I think it looks classy and it comes painted in the G70 black.

I saw that spoiler but don’t like how it doesn’t even follow the trunk lip lines at both ends. Curves too much and isn’t high enough for me. But it’s all personal taste.

I have the trunk lip similar to what @CaliG70 posted although different seller. It matches the black paint very well almost identical.
I've had it on with 3M tape like most of us here and I never had any issues. I've driven as fast as ~110mph and hasn't budged a bit

Its the dark chrome on the sports edition as beefed said. Just looks dark with shop lighting.

As for cost I'll break it down.
3 piece front lip: $210
Side skirt: $185
Trunk spoiler: $110

Shipping from Korea: $200

Install can be self done I used 3M double sided tape for the skirt and lip as well as provided hardware for mounting. All screws in pretty easily with self tapping screws. Spoiler just measure it out peel off the tape and adhere.

I had a local shop do the installed though given the weather and I don't have access to a garage atm and didn't want to wait til spring. That cost will vary.

I thought I'd start a thread to keep track of the aftermarket add-ons for front lips/damns, trunk spoilers/lips, rear diffusers and side skirts. And maybe Sal will create separate section for stores and parts?

What did you use to install the lip in leading my car so I just want the lip but I don’t want to drill holes as I’m sure Hyundai wouldn’t appreciate it so would a glue gun be enough?

I have the same lip and i used 3m 1/2” double sided body mounting tape with 3m Adhesion Promoter. It’s SOLID. The included mounting tape is not enough. This will get you set up.

So you're telling I don't need to use screws? and is it possible to remove it late without damaging the paint? I was thinking about using a glue gun...

Glue gun will damage the paint. The 3M adhesive if cleaned and prepped properly will hold forever. I live in the AZ heat and mine is solid after 2 years.

See posts 70 and on. I have this spoiler on the car right now. I ordered and received the M&S but haven't put it on. Reason being I did a chrome delete and tried the first spoiler again and like it...
