  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis 2015 3.8 RWD wiper blades

Best blades I have ever used are Valeo. I have them on my Audi and they are amazing. I want a set for my 2015 Genny, but I have been unable to locate them. I bought the Audi set from TireRack.

I think I might found them , Amazon got them, they look pretty neat , looks similar to those I bought , same shape and look
Here I found them

Just found out also that is not that good to live across to street from the beach :) It might have nice view , but for car and windshield , wipers and paint the sand is not good.
Can easy get scratch marks , windshield etc, and I was wondering all the time , why my wipers are gone that fast :)

One thing I have learned is that whenever I clean my windshield off I also wipe off the cleaning edge of the wiper blades. Seems to extend their life.

I felt that the wiper blades went bad too quickly and was disappointed. Around 5 months.

I've had my 2015 since last June and the wipers are still working great. The car sits outside at work most weekdays, but is garage kept at night/weekends. I applied RainX once and I also regularly clean the windshield and blades (not just when I wash the car).

Hmmm... I read that as wiper blades would be replaced in the first 12 months ONLY if there was a defect in material or factory workmanship. I don't think that worn out wiper blades fall into that category!

If you go to your dealer and tell them they are not working properly, this have to replace them. I found this out reading another post on here regarding the Gen 1 model. I have only owned my car for 6 months and my wipers are still working fine. If I have issues with them before the 12 months are up, I will be sure to reply back as to how my dealer handles it.

That's not true - based on the wording of the warranty, they don't HAVE to replace them. They might - or they might just clean them for you - or they might tell you there is no material/workmanship defect so you're out of luck as it's normal wear & tear.

The fact is that wiper blades are a normal wear item, yet many won't bother to clean them regularly. So maybe the dealer will "spot" you a set, but maybe they won't. If the cost of replacement blades is a big deal to you, then the better approach is to keep them in good condition to maximize longevity yourself!

Valid point.
