Genesis 3.8 with magnaflow muffler

Hi folks! There was many question here how Geny V6 sounds with magnaflow. I installed one magnaflow (yep another one is compete stock) universal muffler on my kdm Geny (air susp,electric rear seats,but no DIS or gps ((( And that what i got:

So this is how v6 genesis sound with magnaflow mufflers. I installed just one because of drone issues,and yes with one its not so loud. Good sound from outside, BUT this f***g drone at 2000rpm is just killing me, especially when i go uphill, and Kiev (city i live in)is situated on hills,so permanent drone in cabin when going up,compete silence going down.I literally had a headaches. 300$ lesson to me ) I just imagine how loud drone is in complete magnaflow system! I reverted to stock,and now i'm enjoin the silence). I think this mufflers are good for subaru wrx, evo etc but geny is a different its comfy (especially on air susp) and quiet so don't spoil it.

it depends on what you want. Do you want sound? ok then, go aftermarket? Do you want silence? Ok then, don't touch a damn thing. Do you want a vq motor sound? then buy a g35.... Just sayin. You are probably going to get a drone out of any aftermarket muffler. That's the price you pay to get a good sound at 4k rpm.

You know on my previous car I had a remus exhaust l,and it was perfect! No drone at all,just sporty and mean sound after 3000 rpm. Magnaflow I think is not bad for sport cars where you expect to hear loud exhaust all the time, but not for Genesis.

The Genesis is not a G37X, nor is it a wrx. If I would hear a Genesis that sounded like that, I would think that it either had exhaust problems, or it was driven by a 19 year old kid.
It looks like your Genesis was doing rather well in the snow. Looks like 80-100 kph.

You guys are responding to a nearly 3 year old thread. Guy hasn't posted in 2.5 years.

And, yes, he is Ukrainian as inferred by reading that he was driving in Kiev when the video was shot.
