  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Connected Services is selling Driving behavior, Location & Speed data to insurance companies

... I think about the only sure way is to disconnect the modem antenna lead. I might just do that to be sure.
I don't know about your 2021 G70, but the antenna for the (now obsolete) 3G modem in my 2018 G18 is actually in front of the infotainment system inside the dash, so not trivial to get to. The shark fin antenna (in my case at least) is not used for that system, just XFM and GPS.

Yeah, I've been trying to trace down the exact location of the modem, which apparently is under the passenger side dash. I think that might be easier to get to than where the antenna is. Besides, an open-ended antenna cable will still act somewhat like an antenna, albeit with a severely mismatched load impedance.

Genesis/Kia isn't making this an easy task, no doubt purposely.

Check out my comments on a similar GV70 thread .................

Regardless of how Genesis choses to interpret what "anonymous and aggregated" means, I plain don't like the fact that the car mfr is collecting data sent from my car.
Totally agree, I didn't like it either. Haven't thought about disabling the system, not a bad idea - if it can be done.

My Connected Services expire next week, if they'll give me a great deal on a renewal, I might. I have the telematics turned off (declined), they better not be sending it.
