Completely agree!Speaking for myself, it’s not the cost, it’s the principle of the matter. Genesis has advertised to owners that adapters will be available, sends a notice of when owners can request an adapter, and then fails to communicate when they don’t meet their self-imposed timelines. When one purchases a luxury vehicle, they expect a level of communication and service commensurate with the cost. This is just another instance of Genesis failing to live up to the level of service of legacy luxury brands.
That being said, I was already leaning towards a third party adapter, so this delay just spurred me to purchase what I wanted instead of waiting for Genesis to get their act together.
As much as buying the adapter won’t be a burden, it’s money I’d much rather spend on things other than an adapter that should otherwise be provided to me for free
