I'll be extremely irked if this postcard is nothing more than duplicate information from the original press release and tells us to wait for the email :-(Just speculating, but I wonder if the mailing campaign is possibly a Genesis backup plan that attempts to solve what may be a broken email campaign. It would be incredible if HKG somehow couldn't manage to send out emails to customers to whom they already send out various emails, but stranger things have happened. It's only software, after all.

Also received mailer, today. Trying not to be conspiracy-minded but - it says to "verify email and shipping address" on mygenesis.com - and so in logging in to that site, editing your profile, it prompts to send an MFA code, to phone/SMS or email, and by default I pick SMS... and received the code right away. But I thought, hey let's send it to email and make sure that works. And wouldn't you know it, I did NOT receive the MFA code (Gmail). Still haven't, several minutes later. Meaningful? Who knows... (but I looked, they DO have my correct email, and I get monthly health reports, etc).Yep, this is the front of the mailer I posted (I posted the back side). It just says to confirm your address and email and wait for an email from them.![]()
Well, that's annoying :-(Yep, this is the front of the mailer I posted (I posted the back side). It just says to confirm your address and email and wait for an email from them.![]()
Doesn’t surprise me. Many companies have multiple databases that are not in sync so the database that they are pulling the information from for this campaign may not have the correct information. This definitely seems like a problem on their end. Also received mailer, today. I like the Hanlon's razor adage. While I have heard this before, I like knowing a name. Life is more pleasant when you attribute things like this to stupidity as opposed to malice, because everyone knows you can't fix stupid.
Another interesting find was Grey's law, which may be a more accurate explanation of what we experience with Genesis: "Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice."
Yep. Genesis had no problem sending me (twice now) an email touting a Complimentary Consumer Reports Membership![]()

i did the same, led with 'i know i'm opted in to emails' so wasn't asked about it, and was given a case number and told--like you--to expect a call in 'seven to 10 business days'.I called in to Genesis Customer Care today and they put in a request to have the email sent out to me. Unlike some others here, there was no checking of my communication opt in preferences.
I was only told to expect a call back and to continue checking my Inbox and Junk folders.
Received my adapter via USPS today. Will explore local Superchargers and do a trial run sometime this week.
Just an fyi., In my area in CA, Tesla just raised the price per kw. 12am to 8am = .43 cents kw, 8am to midnight = .72 cents kw. Prices do vary location to location.Called today to inquire about my case, basically they have no clue.
Unsurprisingly that’s the same label / manufacturer / part number I’ve seen on adapters in Hyundai- and Kia-branded packaging on eBay. Just FYI for anyone who doesn’t qualify for a free one and wants to be cautious about the “OEM-only” warranty warning - if you get the Hyundai or Kia one, it’s the same thing.
Νο Μαiler for me today. How does everyone know that they are receiving something specific to Genesis? Is it a feature of my usps?I am receiving the mailer today as well.
