Yes, all map info is on the SD car. Which version of map did you get on this download? My car was made in May/18 and had the 12.5 (NAM.11.47.44.xx) I think my car was updated before delivery.

Do you live near a big city?
With v12.5 on my wife's vehicle, it renders buildings in 3D in downtown Toronto area. Very impressive. I've never taken mine into Toronto. Just Mississauga a couple of times and nowhere near the downtown core.

Use the navigation and check it out. Not sure if it just works in Map mode since it uses a stupid auto zoom value and you miss most smaller streets.

One thing I hate on the native Nav...when you zoom in or out...it never stays...it always resets after a few seconds. F’ing annoying.

There's a button on the left that says Auto. Uncheck that and zoom in to desired level!

NP. I think there is a setting to enable the tuning button to zoom in as well instead of touch zooming. I've only use the built-in Nav a couple of times so I can't say for sure.

There is...and I have that set.

Today I spent 30 min looking at all MM setting and nothing gets me to the Home Screen Setting Menu. I don't have the App/ Info icon either and like you when SD car is removed the HVAC menu appears on the left of the home screen but no settings at all. What the heck?

I know...this is starting to tick me off. The Owner's Manual obviously mentions it. So why is it missing. The whole concept of "widgets" is completely lost and unusable at this point.

What also irks me is...when I start the car...it always lands on the "home" page. Well...if I cannot customize it...I don't want it there when I start the car !!! At least give me the option to choose which screen shows up upon start up...like "My Menu" or something.

So every time I start the car...I have to click on the Radio button to get it off the shitty home screen. As noted...I would keep it on the home screen if I could have HVAC and Radio/XM.

Think I might call Genesis...see what gives.

Correct, the Home Screen can't be changed and on top of it everytime we start the car the f'king screen shows up. Please keep us updated with your conversations with Genesis.

Only suggestion is to reset the system. I might do this...but you lose all your audio presets...so I would have to take some pics and then set it all up.

But...I think this is a bigger issue. Looks like Kia folks have the same thing. This guy has a solution which I already mention above. Pull out the SD card and you have the climate on the left side. If you want Nav...you put it back in. Not an viable solution for me though...

^ Quick update. Looked at the MM User Manual for the 2019 G80. The manual represents what I have in the G70...zero mention of the Home Screen Settings.

I am thinking the G70 manual is from some other market...and Genesis screwed the pooch on this one.

How annoying.

Thanks for the info. Agree that this "solution" is not practical. Will have to live with this issue until Genesis will fix it with an update (something I don't expect at all)

Those options may be available for Korea, Middle East or Russia and not us.
Not sure why they don't enable everything and only disable those that violates regulations in those markets.
