Well it still has a cabin air-filter. I think it’s a HEPA. What other entry-level luxury cars offer “ultra-violet light” filtering systems?Motoman, as usual, with the most technical info (even if some of it is speculation).
Man, that new EV concept must be something.
Considering the likelihood of the Coronavirus mutating each season like the common flu, they should offer the air purification system for every market (and add an ultra violet light to kill viruses).
Weird that this information doesn't seem to be available anywhere on the internet, given it is already out in Korea.Still, no one with the CuFt or otherwise of hatch volume behind the 2nd row. Not looking good from the videos though.
That's basically a Mazda CX-5 in terms of trunk space. Actually the GV70 has a slightly larger trunk with the seats up (but no 40/20/40 split). This video claims the space volume in the back.
542 L
1678 L with seats folded down.
I'm guessing it's correct, but not 100% sure.542L is 19.14 CuFt. Umm, that can't be right? It's smaller than my Impreza hatch? Or even the CX30/Mazda 3. This makes me sad... and, if true, I will not be getting one. I need more room, not less. I guess the search continues. I mean, FPace has a 33.5 cu ft (essentially same length and wheelbase as GV70) It just cannot be that bad?
Interesting. There's something going on with the Genesis crossover designs. I see that the much larger GV80 has cargo space of 34.9 cu. ft. with the 2nd row up, just 1.4 more than the F Pace despite the GV80 being 8" longer and 2" wider & higher. In fact, my Lincoln Nautilus (37.2 cu. ft.) has more cargo space than the GV80 even though it clocks in 4" shorter, and 2" narrower & lower. Maybe it is the long hood design of the Genesis vehicles.X1 was always known as smallest in class. 15cu ft or so. The Jag is 33 cu ft. The dogs (2@70lbs ea) will be fine in the back of the Jag, but not the Genesis.
Not sure how they missed the mark on this one, especially considering the Jag is only .7" longer, 1" wider and .9" higher. In almost all regards, volume-wise, statistically "same". But the Jag hatch volume is 33.5 CuFt vs the GV70 supposed 19.1? That's going to sting. Again, a Premium SUV with less storage than my '17 Impreza? L to the O to the L.
Comparing the pics, there's a noticeable difference in the depth of the floor on the GV70 to FPace. If I were to guess, 5-6 inches. Can see it in the opening, and the back seats and where it the volume is made up/lost. Bummer.
It was in the above video review, and I sincerely doubt the number would not have been an official number. That's how you lose press credentials for car reviews. No cargo room has been confirmed for the GV70. So pointless to through out any numbers.
Confirmed from the Canada preview last week @ 1610/819 liters (56.8/ 28.9 cubic feet)No cargo room has been confirmed for the GV70. So pointless to through out any numbers.
It’s not official...it’s some number they threw out there. Unless you point me to official Genesis literature...it’s made up.It was in the above video review, and I sincerely doubt the number would not have been an official number. That's how you lose press credentials for car reviews.
You can choose not to believe it, that's fine. But don't go around saying what is and is not, "pointless" to discuss.
Thanks! This article references those figures.Confirmed from the Canada preview last week @ 1610/819 liters (56.8/ 28.9 cubic feet)
