  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Loyalty and pull-ahead programs for Hyundai Genesis Owners

Another shit added to the long list of Genesis USA fiasco.

So I looked into this extensively, and today I received a call from Genesis and I was informed that the pull-ahead program was activated, along with a Conquest Owners Coupon – Hyundai Genesis owners would be eligible for both of these. Not sure how for how long though, but it is good news and a step in the right direction.

Thanks. Good to know. How do we know if is working?
I wrote today an email to Barry Ratzlaff, Vice President, Customer Satisfaction of Hyundai Motor America. I will post if I get any answer.

I guess no responses yet? I got the following email from Genesis a week ago from today:

Thank you for contacting Genesis Motor America. We appreciate the opportunity to address your inquiry regarding Genesis loyalty incentive programs.

We apologize that Genesis does not have a loyalty or rewards program you inquired about available at this time with your purchase or lease of a Genesis

So how does the Conquest Owners Coupon work for Hyundai Genesis owners? Did you mean the Loyalty Coupon?

No response. Still waiting.

I am in process of purchase right now, although dealers are having difficult times obtaining inventory. My understanding directly from Genesis is that the conquest offer has been extended to Hyundai Genesis owners as well as select competing brands and I have no reason to believe otherwise.

I really believe what you say but will be good to have any proof of it. I have no dealers in my state (Florida) selling the G70 so I can't ask them. The Conquest offer I read doesn't mention a Hyundai Genesis and according to @TurtleBoy Genesis told him that our cars are not included.

I got the info from two different Genesis dealers. Tried to get confirmation from Genesis customer service but they said they had no information on the incentive programs and to contact my dealer.

Maybe I read @tiredeli's post from the other day wrong but I took it as they recently changed their policy and are now offering the incentives to Hyundai Genesis owners. Perhaps dealer's are not aware of the change yet.

That's what I'm trying to find out. A proof of it, something written or somebody that got the incentive. Until now I have no answer from Hyundai or Genesis USA and I have no dealer near me to ask.

Genesis Finance are totally clueless. They said I should ask Hyundai. What a poor example for a luxury car company.

Thank you for contacting Genesis Finance*.

Thanks. I already wrote an emai a couple of days ago to Barry Ratzlaff, Vice President, Customer Satisfaction of Hyundai Motor America. No answer until now. If I dont get anything by Monday I will try to contact them again.

Just got off the phone with Amber at Genesis Customer Care, she seemed knowledgeable about all of the incentive programs and she said that only Genesis branded vehicles qualify for the loyalty discount and was not aware of any policy change that has happened or will happen to include Hyundai Genesis' in the loyalty program.

Thank you buddy. I really appreciate what you have done for helping us. I'm hoping to get an email answer from Hyundai Motor USA helping us in this stupid decision. 2016 Hyundai leases are finishing right now, many of these owners will expect to lease any 2019 Genesis car again and having these news probably they won't, Genesis will lose many customers.

You're welcome. I just sent an email to Kevin Smith the Genesis PR guy, I will update should he answer.

So what sort of incentive loyalty were you expecting that would make or break a Genesis deal and lose Genesis many customers?

Not looking for what you got in the past, that was with Hyundai.

The one in the OP.

Okay, looks like previous generation owners will be very pleased (as tiredeli reported). I just received this email from Kevin Smith, the PR head for Genesis Motors.

Situation apparently resolved in the last day or two. There's a lease pull-ahead program for earlier lessees and Hyundai Genesis owners can now use a conquest incentive on a new Genesis vehicle. Buyers will need to check with their local new Genesis retailer for details.

Best,
Kevin

Edit: He followed up with another email saying I should make sure I post that since this just happened the local dealers may not be aware of the change yet.
