I appreciate your assessment of differences between the V6 & V8, Ric. The only bit of angst I've had since buying the V6 three weeks ago is whether or not I'd regret not waiting for the V8 (not so much power-wise, but just due to a modest $2K cost difference plus the handful of upgrades). Given your observations about deltas between the two insofar as power, leather, wood-trimmed wheel, etc., it appears that all I have to do is retro on the chrome accent strips, and I'll be good to go with the ol' 3.8L!

I totally agree about the leather. I could not tell the difference. Maybe if both cars were side by side... It's definitely nothing to feel bad about not having, though. The leather in the v6 is nearly the same.

Unfortunately, NO. We just drove the cars. It was way to HOT and muggy to pose for a group pic in the parking lot. As for the demo V8 inside, there were so many people crawling over it a good pic was not available.
 
Ok, it seems that we are getting mixed reviews from the Florida crowd on the Genesis , but what about those 21" babies ?

I wouldn't say there were mixed reviews on the Genesis, 3 out of 4 of us drove up in a Genesis... The Miami event was seeing a steady crowd and people were moving along in organized groups.

99% of the attendees had never seen a Genesis before, while we enlightened visitors wanted the advanced course!
