genesis sedan rear bumper molding

Anyone know if the bumper needs to be removed to replace the small chrome
[plastic] molding that is applied to the vinyl molding,or does it just snap on?

Honestly, I don't know and I'm guessing here, but it looks like 1 solid piece.

I read from another forum that in order to remove the molding from the FRONT bumper, the whole bumper had to be removed since it's screwed on from the back.
I imagine it being the same for the rear as well.
