  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis USA website update?

Just noticed this. The RWD/AWD base 2.0T cars have different headlights. I guess non-LED or whatever. First time I have seen that since every single photo/vid out there has the cool unique LED ones.

Which is fine...it's a base model. Just observing :)

Updated for 2019! Thanks Grizzly95, first to post about it I believe.
So glad I started this thread, I think they are listening!!!;)

I've never seen a 3.3T AWD non-sport with the 10-spoke wheels to date, but the configurator shows 10-spokers. Likely in error. Also, the burgundy interior is not available with the 3.3T in Silver, but it's there for the 2.0T in Silver! Doesn't make much sense... likely another error in the configurator. :(

Another thing they got wrong. The 2.0T manual is 255 HP...3 more than the Auto. Torque is the same.

How many things did they botch on this site...OMG. They should be ashamed.

Reviewers have been saying the Manual is 255 hp, instead of 252 HP for the 8-spd auto 2.0T.

Ok, now that the US Configurator is online...what the heck is the Advanced package? Dealers and other search tools (Cars.com) are showing an Advanced package???? Screen shots below.

Interesting for sure. I notice only two Genesis dealers for greater Chicago (at least so far). My dealer is one of them thank goodness.

Which one? The Internet Sales Manager at Rosen in Algonquin said they were continuing to be a Genesis dealership, but I suppose time will tell.

I wonder if people could mention the states as well as the cities when they talk about dealerships. That information is probably somewhere in the thread but it would be a lot easier to have it in the post mentioning the city than to go back and track it down.

I'm not criticizing folks at all. In the context of the discussion it makes sense to just name a city in reply to someone else's specific post. But for someone reviewing the thread as a whole, it would be great if city and state could be mentioned. Some city/town names (like Springfield) are common enough across states that it can be confusing at times. We all know our local areas so well that it's reflexive to mention the city and assume the state is obvious but sometimes it isn't. Just a suggestion.

@TurtleBoy, has a pdf file (https://genesisowners.com/genesis-forum/attachments/dealers-pdf.16073/) that he is updating as necessary. Maybe the pdf file should be made as a sticky on the G70 forum?

Right there with you, except on the west coast. No dealerships selling the G70 in the Pacific Northwest, nor do any of them have the slightest idea of if/when they'll even get them.

No dealers in Florida too. Does anyone have an idea when Florida is gonna have the G70?

Ed Voyles Hyundai in Smyrna, GA has six G70 models available. The vehicle looks very cool, but too small for me. However for some reason, the G70 is not listed on the dealer’s website. I will keep my comments to myself. Thanks.
