  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My 2015 Genesis sedan driver side door takes much effort to close. Other 3 doors close easily with minimal effort. Fit of door look ok , maybe latch needs lube or latch is defective. Anyone else with similar issue. Going to ask when I take it in for wash today

Same here. Your really have to slam the door shut.

I took it in today and they tried to adjust latch plate on the car frame. They were very nice and said to bring it back in if the adjustment was inadequate. When i tried the door it seemed the same as before so i went and tested the door on a new one in the showroom. It was the same as mine. It appears there is a lot more electronics and weight in the drivers door and you just need to close more firmly. Now, I'm not concerned anymore.

Hyundai just want u to hear the solid THUNK every time u close the door like the S-class. HAHA!!
