I think that you need the stick if the H/U has never been updated before... They would probably send you one, I'd imagine.

Dino696 - I'm not sure I understand what you mean:
1) did you get the files from the Hyundai website using the desktop app called Navigation Updater?
2) did you download those files to your computer per that software?
3) did you get an SD card 32MB or larger at the speed required by Hyundai and ensure it was formatted to Fat 32?
4) did you copy those files and folders (with all subordinate files and folders) to an SD card at the root directory?
5) did you insert that SD card into your SC card slot on your dash and then try the download?

If yes to all of these - then I have no clue why you are having problems.

Hi,
I cant update my Gen 3.8 Ultimate '15.. The button is grayed out. Someone have the files to first updated from USB??

Go to the myhyundai website and download the updater tool take the sd card out of the car and put in the card reader on your pc. Launch the updater tool and it will download the necessary files to it. When you insert it back into your car it will automatically start the update

anyone with the 15 touch notice that it takes 2 or 3 taps to turn on the radio with the knob?

Its a multifunction button. One tap turns audio(radio) off another tap turns entire system off.

So I am having a nightmare with the latest Mapnsoft update. First the fonts didn't match and the system would not "read" text messages. I just got the latest update 1411UP2 for my 2015 Ultimate. Now: I can not even access Bluetooth options to try and re sync phones, the jog is sometimes non responsive as is the touch screen and I have some new icon (red circle filled with white a horizontal traffic light and a black video camera profile see attached file). 15 some odd emails to Mapnsoft have gone almost nowhere and now feel the system is compromised. Their last suggestion get a new AVN shipped to dealer. The system worked fine before the last two map updates...Agggggh. Obviously others are having trouble too...anyone get a good update/install? What's the trick?

Did anyone notice that after the update, we lost the option to re-order any audio presets? Mapnsoft rep confirmed that the feature was removed by Hyundai in this update...

Still no phone batt charge status
No cell phone signal strength indication
No WiFi options (or I can't find them)
Can not re-order presets
Can not set alt route options
Screen cleaned up (fewer details less clutter / options / menu buttons on map/route display)
No turn by turn/details?
No navigation mute icon change ie no red diagonal line

Can anyone explain what the camera/traffic light icon on the dash does and how it works? It was added to my 2015 with the latest map update. It is there sometimes and gone at others.

I have this problem too....but at least I know what it is now.

weird now that i've tried it some more it always turns on after the 3rd tap so not sure if its a physical issue. also after "waking" it up, it then works fine thereafter but comes back after car is restarted.

Wait. You put the map sid card data on the USB drive and got the Red Light Camer icon in the H/U?

I do it twice and still the button is greyed out. I have the New map but without upgrade media.

I have the same model and everything as you and having the same issue. Was you able to get it installed??

Yes, i installed it U must use the Usb sticker 32gb

Use USB only to install update. After that use SD card to have maps

Thank you. I did that, but when I go to "Settings>Display" map color isn't showing where you can change to Cafe Latte, Mocha etc..or Route Guide Line & Vehicle Symbol...
