  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

GV60 Canadian Deposit - Local Dealer Information & Timelines

More great info. Why have you been holding out on us until now? 😀

Is this Canadian? I see Ergo Motion seats listed. I watched a video , but it wasn’t clear to me whether this is effectively a massage function.

The two big feature questions for me are whether we’ll see HDA 1 or 2, and whether the GV60 will have ADB headlights. If they don’t skimp on features, I might get comfortable with the price premium over the EV6.
Yes it's from a Canadian dealer. I don't think the seats are massage they just help prevent fatigue and ease pressure points. But the bolsters adjust apparently so that would help in the corners.

Seems like the Korean GV70 Electrified has the HDA2.

Basically the difference between I and II is that HDA-II can do lane changes in Smart Cruise Control but requires side sensors. The car pictured shows sensors on the front and rear wheel arches. I'm assuming Parking Assist also uses this sensors which is on the Performance trim.

I just found what appears to be the NA owner's manual. https://owners.genesis.com/genesis/...-manual/2023/gv60/2023-GV60-Owners-Manual.pdf

For the driving modes, it states:

COMFORT mode
COMFORT mode is a driving with auto changing the driving mode (2WD/AWD) on road condition.

ECO mode
ECO mode is a driving mode that helps improve energy efficiency by limiting maximum vehicle power (torque), providing smooth vehicle response and driving the vehicle with the rear wheels (2WD).

Let's hope that's a good sign. I suspect the same sensors would be required for the auto park/summon feature as well.

Great find , seems someone should be an investigator lol , that said you would think this should gain at least 100km in range no ?

100 seems pretty ambitious. The difference between range for the standard 2WD and AWD is 51km in Korea. While the GV60 would have a larger battery pack, I’d be happy if we saw that much of an increase.

That's the US manual. Canadian isn't available yet.
Also we may not get everything they get and vice versa.
For example on the G70 during release in 2018, we did not get the passenger power seat side adjustment but the US did.

If they do change something i hope its the color of the cladding and the color of the headliner , you are right about feature lists changing but something like the eco mode behavior i imagine would not but who knows

I’m not sure that manual doesn’t apply to Canada. You will find ”Canada” in several places within, and even some French.

Is it just me, or do some of the North American pictures show body color front skirts and slightly less Grey molding on the sides and back?

Too hard to judge base on show room and real life color.
I order the light silver, hopefully the contrast wouldn't be too bad.

Take a look at were the fender flare meets the front skirt, there is much more contrast on the NA model.

Highly unlikely, they don't randomly paint different parts of the car trim

My big concern about this car is that it will sit too low and it looks pretty short next to whatever that is beside it. I have seen the specs and videos, but I won't be able to tell until I am in it. Used to an SUV.

I hope so. I have a G70 now and love how low it is. If they offered a G70 EV, I would buy right away!

I have to agree with you. Ride height and styling of the g70 is amazing. I've got a 2022 Seville Silver and wish they had it in EV as well.
