What predelivery wash & cleaning do they do, if any?
Wondering because I am thinking of getting PPF done and so don’t want any swirls on the car beforehand

It looks like insurance won't be an issue. I went onto the insurer's website, entered my VIN, and it identified the vehicle as a GV60 Performance.

On Monday, I am booked to have the side mirrors and everything forward covered with Xpel.

They offered me the option of bring car to me or going to the dealership. I chose the former. I didn't ask about prior cleaning, but assume it will come to me in showroom condition. I booked to have PPF done ASAP after receiving the car.

My insurance company gave me a “rough” quote (needs VIN to be definitive) and I am looking at $2700 annual for maximum coverage with $500 deductible. Very reasonable IMO

All depends on where you live. It was nice to get away from the Toronto car insurance rates years ago when I moved.

They only told me I'm high up on the list, and eta will be 6-8 weeks from when my order hits production. Seeing how some people are getting their deliveries soon makes me wonder if something is wrong at my dealership.

They said something about batches, I think they don't have too much info or are trying to stay tight lipped until the vehicles are here maybe?

Just had my test drive in a Melbourne Grey Matte. Fantastic!! Every thing looks great, but the dealer told me the fingerprint reader cannot be used to start the car due to Canadian regulations. My build should be delivered in late July-early August.
