I’d argue that they MUST remove it, as it shouldn’t be offered.
The rear and side-rear windows come pre-tinted on the GV60. Tint on the front windows is illegal in AB, so what are you paying for?

I was unsure if the rear windows came pre-tinted, that's why I added it earlier in the process. I hate the fishbowl effect of clear windows all the way around. I'll ask them to remove it.

Apparently, people already talking flipping GV60 for cash. A salewoman on the Quebec GV60 page already seeking lease bust taker for 4000$ after a month of use that she//her buddy will be put up on lease buster.
I argue with her, being a Genesis Sales, she shouldn't do this when people on the same group are waiting for their turns.
I started to argue and tag Genesis Canada and her sale director. She backoff and deleted the post.

Wow! She was a Genesis salesperson? That is shameful. Good for you for bringing it to the attention of Genesis Canada.

The company I work for has strict ethics policies. If an employee was found doing something like that they could be terminated. We are not allowed to to take advantage of our role within the company for our personal benefit.

I didn’t yet configure the facial recognition….and yes battery was charged at 100%…;-)

I wonder what you could get for it if you sell privately as soon as you take delivery? Not sure I could stomach that....but maybe. If I could make a profit, I might keep my current car and order again next year to get the missing features.

She's not the only one. I know someone that has a deposit and asked for a refund. Dealer asked him to buy the car, drive it for a month, and sell it back to them at exactly what he paid for it. I guess this makes the car owned by the dealer instead of Genesis Canada.

I got an email from Genesis yesterday Saying my trade in appraisal had been approved. My dashboard shows the final invoice. I now have a VIN.
So I tried to set up the Genesis Connected app and got through several screens Until the ‘registration’ at which point I was told that my address didn’t match with the ‘retail information for this vehicle’. So I was unable to finish registering. Frustrating.

Called my dealer and they said they will register me when I pick up the vehicle—although he couldn’t confirm an arrival date???
So I’m waiting to here when I can pick it up.

No I didn’t. It’s my sons 2004 Civic. I had a deposit on both the Performance and an Advanced.
I gave him the specs of the Civic over the phone (and sent him some pictures) and told him if I got a certain price I would opt for the Performance. I told him he was likely going to make more money on the Performance so he could be a bit ‘generous’ on the trade in.
We went back and forth and settled on a price that I was happy with.

Been reading online that some dealership's in the US are selling the GV60 over MSRP. Didn't think that was allowed...

Not just the GV60s. Most all the new Genesis' are going for $5,000 or more above MSRP. Not all dealers are doing this. My dealer was charging $5K over MSRP but since I have been a long-time customer, they waived that and I was able to get my GV80 for MSRP.

Has anyone pre-ordered their GV60 with window tinting added as an option for $550? I did, but I'm second guessing whether it's needed. And whether I can remove it from the draft invoice at this point.

I’m waiting for the aftermarket to have something available. I hope the mats will be ready by the winter or I may be forced to buy OEM.
I’ve got towels on the hatch floor too, awaiting a cargo tray.

It doesn't come with either or. If you look at their website they are all optional accessories.
