Insurance question. Taking delivery this week in Toronto. Being quoted over $2k for insurance! Told that its because its such a new vehicle that they dont have a rating. By comparison, my Tesla Y costs me $1600 through CAA. Anyone else encountered this/ found a cheaper insurer? Thanks

its very hard question indeed, insurance coverage premium varies with your personal background, usage, coverage, even someone will say they gets a cheap insurance, you might not get it.

Keep shopping.
I have my house and two car, if I added the GV60 perf with TD insurance, it will be 621$/yr (100$deducitble) for just GV60 (i am in Quebec)

Thanks. The learning curve for the technology is huge...my previous car was a 2011.
The drive is very very nice and comfy. The car is great, once I get over my nervousness with it, lol

The blue with the yellow yellow piping is very nice. Much lighter than black so the car seems open and airy.

I have 245/60/18 winter tires. Does anyone know if these tires will work for GV60?

I have a couple of questions:

(1) Have there been any forum members who have received their GV60s from/through Genesis Waterloo (I deposited on day 1, Februry 8, and other than my test drive on May 30 I've heard nothing from them. They claimed they couldn't give me any indication of where I was on the list - just that when they had the VIN from the factory I would be notified and the car would probably be ready to be delivered about a month later. My reason for asking is that I see lots of forum members who ordered and deposited much later have already received their cars. Mine is performance/mauna red/white&grey interior.

(2) Has anyone sucessfully sourced a wireless charging pad (for the car not the phone) for installation and use at home?

I picked up my GV60 on July 6th from Genesis Waterloo (Performance, Red with Black interior). Looks like the car arrived in Canada on June 6th, then the dealer had it for 12 days before my actual delivery. They appear to have received another Red, Blue, and a Lime. I was told maybe 4 more this summer and another 3-4 later this year. The colour combination seemed to be one of the keys to the delivery sequence.
