  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

GV70 Daily Picture Thread

Not so sure myself I'm a fan of car's matt color but the jury is still out that I actually have never seen one in person to appreciate it?

I think it looks a bit different in person. The paint has some metallic speckles in it so it gives it a little more shine than matte. Almost in between a matte and satin finish.

Checking out the new wheels in the sun. Ideally, I would have liked 20" wheels but I just like the softer ride with the 19" wheels too much!

Here are my TuxMats installed. Link

Unfortunately, I couldn't wait any longer, and got a different trunk-liner.

Is that rubber/plastic then or is there a texture on top?
They call it Elastomer

It is a firm plastic, and has a skid-resistant texture

IMO. Weathertech is way overpriced for what you get.
I used to have it in my 2013 Hyundai Genesis sedan but not anymore after a couple of years of ownership the label started peeling off.
Not only that it was a hard plastic.
I used Husky brand for my G70 and that was the best floor mats made (rubber not hard plastic).
Unfortunately Husky does not make ones for GV70 so I turned to Amazon and found these.

Cargo tray:

Floor mats:

Al fit and look fantastic for a lot less than what the other brands.

Here is the trunk liner from Amazon. Not nearly as nice as a TuxMat, but half the price. Amazon Link

Was stiffer than anticipated, and the D rings had to be forced over the edges some.
Damn thanks for sharing I guess I’ll just hold out a little longer for a proper fitting cargo mat

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I am super-sensitive to any change in the ride quality - I can tell when the stock 19s have too much air in them (just had them swapped at the dealership and they put in 39 psi instead of 32 front, 36 rear...I could tell. I had to stop and let some air out.

So...I'm wondering about moving to 20" wheels - might I be annoyed by a harsher ride? I know many people don't notice it even if it is a large difference...I'm too picky I know, but I'm curious if you noticed a difference.

Thanks.

For me, I would forgo ride quality (which may not even be noticeable) over the look of the wheels if the wheels really looked good.

anyone tried a staggered set-up on the GV70? How big can you go as the tires all look lost in the wells...

Need my front windows tinted ASAP.

Tuxmat trunk liner for GV70 back in stock. Just ordered one.

Edit: I guess this forum annoyingly added an amazon link, but I meant in stock direct from the manufacturer not amazon.

I can give my 2 cents from the opposite side. I have a 3.5T SP with the 21 inch wheels. I had an electric GV70 loaner with the 20 inch wheels and the ride quality difference was massive. I felt the ride with the 20 inch wheels was excellent. The ride with my 21 inch wheels feels too firm now. I just wish you could get the fully loaded model without having to get the 21 inch wheels. I would have opted for 20 inch if given the choice.
