I don't see any issues with putting them on and taking them off as you need them. I have the Thule WingBar Edges and they are very easy to install and remove.Hopefully someone in this thread can help. With the GV70 I am going down in size a bit ahead of plan and looking to add a roof box for that extra carrying space I need about 3 or 4 times a year. I don’t really like the looks of the cross bars to leave them in place all year so wondering how easy is it to take them on and off. Is this a bad practice from a safety side (wear and tear). Time to take off and on. Any other advice
The Thule website shows only the G70 and GV80 racks for a 2022 Genesis.
What cross bars are you using? In Canada I have only seen the Thule 6116 with 50 inch cross bars but I would rather a smooth rounded system like yours

Just curious if the roof rails are in fact on the 2.5 sports prestige trim. The 2023 brochure shows that it’s only on the 3.5 trims. Can anyone let me know if they do in fact have the 2.5 sports prestige and if they do come with roof rails with the ability to install a roof rack? ThanksJust get thule!

Would love advice on this as well. Was looking at the same things on the Thule website and want to ensure I’d be pitching the right one and if it’s worth it. Looks like we’d need to order 3 separate items for a complete roof rack package per the site (that they suggest)Has anyone installed the Thule Wingbar Evo or Wingbar Edge cross bars on their GV70, and if so, any feedback on fit, stability and noise levels when nothing is on them? Thanks in advance.
Edit: leaning toward the Evo as it has more flexibility with the totally flat plane, so especially interested in feedback on this model.
4 actually, if you include the locks. But yes, the primary components are the bars, the feet (both of preceding are generic except for length of the bars, which is 50" for our vehicle) and the fit kit for the feet to our particular roof rails.Would love advice on this as well. Another question on these roof racks. If you continue to put these on and take them off , is there a probability/possibility it can damage or chip the finish/paint on the actual roof rails that sit on top of the car that these racks are being attached to?4 actually, if you include the locks. Was this the Thule Motion XT, and if so, L or XL? And were you satisfied with the Thule, and was this the right size for the Genesis? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am about to order the Motion XT. Thanks!I got the XL box but I also got a family of four snowboarders so I need the spaceYou can always go smaller.

I did order the Motion XT XL. If you need the space the XL is definitely the way to go. I’m very satisfied with the Thule Motion XT XL. Hi all,
Anyone had any luck finding a roof rack with cross bars that fits the GV70? We are a family of skiers and boarders and want to put a box on the roof but seems like what should be simple is next to impossible. Genesis doesn’t carry any roof racks yet nor does Thule have the fit. They say it will eventually come but we can’t wait forever. I even bought a universal and it didn’t fit well either.
Hoping someone here has had some success. My uncle thinks we can modify the Thule version off the GV80
Thanks!
