The correct
wheel arrived a couple of days ago - I had the dealer install it this morning. This required transferring all of the controls, plus the airbag module, from the old
wheel to the new. It took about an hour and the total charge was - are you ready for this? - $49.00.
The new
wheel looks terrific - I'll post photos later today - and it feels great. it's much "chunkier" than the OEM and feels very solid. It is not slippery like the leather, and the top arc has finger indentations, unlike the leather, providing a very firm, secure grip. This was an expensive upgrade (over $700 including installation) but I'm glad I did it.
