  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Have you seen any/many Genesis on the streets?

Saw my first one yesterday when in Boston! Was a black one on Route 1 downtown. Was with my girl and I pointed and said look it's the Genesis! She said it looked like a Mercedes or Lexus.

It was freaky today but I pulled in a parking lot next to the exact same car as mine, except I had the V8. The car had all the winged emblems as I did and also had the same tint. I have not seen any Genesis around prior today and now I see an identical twin!

I spend a lot of time between Chicago area, Atlanta and parts of north Alabama and have only seen a total of 4 in all my travels! Oh, and I'm not in the air, my time is spent on asphalt too boot!

I've had that happen to me. And I felt REALLY uncomfortable. Its like seeing someone with the same shirt that your wearing at the mall. :/

I actually got into an identical car to my own that happened to be unlocked. Was scratching my head for more time than I'd like to admit trying to figure out why my key wasn't working in the ignition. Thank god the owner wasn't around.

Early onset of senility for me. LOL

There has been a tan Genesis in our neighborhood since very early in the car's availability. I used to see it at least several times a week on the streets and once parked at a local restaurant. Oddly enough, since I have bought my V-8, I haven't seen his even once. Vacation, maybe?

Other than that, I could count on the fingrs of one hand the number I have seen on the road.

I've never seen one. CT and NY.

Okay, this is really strange, because just this past Saturday, just before 7 in the morning, I left the house onto an otherwise empty road, and the only other car to pass me is another Genesis (black, because that's all we have here in Wisconsin). I don't mind the company.

It finally happened! 10 months after I bought my Gen. I pull into Home Depot's parking lot yesterday and park my car in the first available slot. Right in front of me is another Gen V8. This is the first Genesis I come across since I bought mine.

I've not seen one yet around Limerick in PA

Multiple Genesis sightings this morning on the ay to work. Saw a Tsukuba Red Genesis Coupe 3.8GT on the QEW Eastbound and a Cabernet Red Pearl Sedan on the Eastbound 403.

Oh ya , almost forgot, I stopped at a light just ahead of White 2.0T coupe.

I'm starting see more and more coupes around it seems.

Finally saw one in Illinois near Warrenville. But, it was the coupe. Have yet to see a sedan outside of a dealership.

I parked next to another Sedan this morning while picking up bagels. People were looking at both, it was great.

Saw one about a week ago, first one on the road ever. But it had the local dealers plate was on it so I think someone was on a test drive and I don't believe it should count as a real sighting. What do you think?

I saw a black Genesis sedan on my way to Morton last weekend. Locals will know where that is. of all places Morton Wa to see another Genesis. I knew exactly what it was as it was coming down the road toward me. Awesome looking car going down the road.
I have not seen any more before then or since then.

I see about 1 sedan a week, average, on the roads around here: Cypress and Huntington Beach, SoCal. Mostly on Valley View/Bolsa Chica roads. Earlier today I noticed a light blue Genesis V6, with badges, parked in my neighborhood - around the block from me.

So far nobody else at work has one - at least not in the parking lot I use. Or if they do, they don't drive it to work much - instead driving their "old clunker" car to take the parking lot dings.

I haven't seen any coupes yet... surprising given how popular sporty/driver's cars are around here.

After 8+ months of driving in Houston, I saw my FIRST Genesis on the freeway.
I was heading East and I spotted the distinctive grille coming up in my rear view mirror.
Apparently this driver had not see one either as he hung on my tail for a couple of miles. I pulled over and the 4.6 blasted past me!
I'm loving it!
