  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Heated/Cooled Seat - led lights

Does anyone else think the led lights for the heated/cooled seats are too dim? On a bright day, I can barely see them. Same for the park distance control.

I noticed it as well. There is very big difference between the light indicating position of the gear shift and the lights indicating heating/cooling. You cannot over look the gear shift indicator while the heating/cooling indicators are hardly visible in a sunny day.
I got used to that but I agree that this should be fixed to make the great car perfect.

+1, but I don't want them to be way too bright when driving in the dark, so it's fine by me.

If thats all that's left for a perfect car, we're in pretty good shape.

Yeah, you're right! I'm still tempted to pop the buttons out and see if there's anything in between the plastic and led.

+1

having same issue since I have this car (2 days so far)... its true the gear lever led's are much brighter ...

The varying brightness for different controls is nothing new. Lots of manufacturers do this - and usually it is so your eyes are drawn to the most important controls. I'd certainly rank gear shift well above seat temp indicators.

This make sense to me, however they are so dim that on a bright day, I'm looking down (away from the road) to change a setting. If this is one of the worst things I have to worry about with my Genesis, I'm in good shape.
