I'm not sure if it's just me or not, but the HID headlights on my 2015 3.8 AWD Ultimate do not project nearly as much light as the 2012 model I had with HID headlights.......anyone else?
I was going to post this also. The other day it was raining (shocking I live in Seattle) and I could barely see the road. It does seem the output of these lights are less or different than past MY Gens. Even with the fog lights on they seem a bit dim.
Had dealer raise headlights a bit, I will let you guys know if this solves the problem. Notice: I watched them do the adjustment and they had to remove the tray above the radiator to get to the headlights, about 8 plastic clips had to come out, half broke coming out and I'm not sure they would have replaced them all if I had not been standing there.
Chuck, I'm sure this was probably the first 2nd Gen. Genesis they have had in their shop, there was 3 tech's performing the adjustment...... gotta find a bigger dealership to have service done!
I did notice a left/right adjustment point on both sides but, no up/down

Don't know about the Gen2, but with the 2012 model, all it takes is a long phillips screwdriver and opening the hood. I hope these guys knew what they were doing........
^ How did he determine where they should be? Just curious because I would like to raise mine on my Gen 1 as well![]()
He texted me a response to your question:
"From the headlight beam to the center of the front emblem is width. Height is floor to center of the headlight beam. Should be 28" height and 27" wide from center."
